My chat looks like a rainbow all the time. I am fine with donors using it but they know better than spamming.
" Please come, and see my new and improved casino and shop now!!! " every 20 seconds.

If you see someone spamming like that in the 3rd picture, you can always report the player. There’s a section on the forums specifically designed for that.
But I have to no support this because it’s colors to get a you to notice them. You always have the option of lowering your pc brightness or game brightness if too many colors is annoying.

 

On the BuyCraft page is stated that you get the color chat activated when you buy a rank so I don't know why they can use it in the first place either.

 

As if only defaults spam in color like that. Im sure the defaults you're trying to target here are the so called "noobs" who actually most likely dont even know how to use color codes.

 

Color codes were only meant for people with d25+ but has been activated for all players on SB2 for no reason

 

If you do /warp donor it has a list of all the perks of each rank. I can't remember which one says colour codes enabled but yeah. I personally have noticed that most donors use smart choices of colour so it isn't extremely out there whereas the so-called greybeans use a different colour for each word which is painful to look at. Especially for a Skyknight (which doesn't exactly have many benefits) I think colour codes should only be for donors because otherwise for Skyknights it seems pointless

I actually support this. I believe it either needs to get removed from non ranked players or removed as a perk on the buycraft website as it is a bit misleading. :')

No support, I don't think this would solve the issue. It would just bring back other types of spam like "{LOOK}" repeatedly, which is worse than a few colours.

You have the option to ignore players if their content annoys you, I don't think it's fair to take this useful perk away from everyone in the non-donor rank just because a few people abuse it.

 

I have started ignoring people now yes, but it should at least be removed from the BuyCraft page then.

 

If anything, I would suggest reducing it only to a few colours, but then again, it is the only exposure 'grey players' get, so no support.
But removing it off of the BuyCraft page, I support.

 

No support because graybeans dont get the same attention as we donors do especially when they are trying to advertise their shops or casinos in a spammy chat. Them using colors makes them more noticable and advertising would be easier.

 

Since this has been fixed the topic can be closed.
