Thank you for the suggestion. Let me start with: I find it absolutely delightful that "too many vote texts" is an actual issue! Think about it from a server health perspective and it is hard not to be a little grateful to everyone for taking a little time to support every day.

Moving on:
At the moment votes only show up in chat if a player is online (or when they log in), which helps to keep the spam down to only who is active at any given time. Previously all votes were announced immediately when they happened regardless of if the player was online. This led to a steady drip of text 24/7. What we are seeing now is "bursts" of text as people log on.

I agree this can be annoying and a per-user option to ignore the announcements for others is worth exploring. I'll add it to the list and check up. However just to manage expectations a bit: This is a third party plugin and if the option does not already exist then our way forward is limited. We'll either need an update from the creator or we would need to crack open the plugin and patch ourselves (not recommended).
