Maybe it wouldn't hurt to spice things up and add a Developer role in the discord chat. Personally, I don't see an issue.

 

Support, I don't see an issue with this. They're already listed on forums as such, it may be a little misleading to see them not listed as that on discord.

Alternatively, rather than a rank listed by itself, it could be just a colour and tag which overrides supermod, but they're still listed under smods.

Unlike moderators, whose role is primarily to assist players, developers are primarily responsible for implementing bug fixes and new features. Communication regarding these types of issues is best handled via the a post in the corresponding section of the forums.

Real-time communication via Discord can be very disruptive to developers' work and can lead to mistakes and delays. Forums posts are more forgiving in this regard and allow developers to respond when they are at a good stopping point in their work.

Having a separate developer role in Discord might also be misleading since there is no distinct role that developers serve on Discord, and none of our current developers are able to address bugs or other issues affecting the Discord server itself.

We do appreciate the time and thought you put into this suggestion though, and hope you'll keep thinking of ways to help make Skyblock better!
