League of Legends is pretty fun, have been playing it for 5 years now

 

I'm sad nobody has mentioned any switch games
Splatoon 2 is great! I'm sad though because I pre-ordered labo from Amazon being told I'd get it on the day if release (today) and it is nowhere to be seen
Anyway back to the point. Nintendo is always overlooked and it's depressing because Splatoon 2 is great and so is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

It really depends on your tastes in games. Due to people constantly mentioning battle royale, I'm just going to leave those out.
In my opinion, in terms of single player games.
I would say Witcher 3, which is an in depth, extremely well done single player and lore, as well as combat system. Another would beSubnautica if you want a survival single player game, but all underwater and having a pretty interesting back story as you go deeper into the ocean and uncover logs of those who were previously on the planet last.
If you want a decent RPG, I would say Fallout New Vegas is a nice pick due to it's great lore, the fact that you get to visit iconic locations like Hoover Dam, Sierra Madre, Zion Valley, and the multiple ways you could go about playing it.
In terms of multi-player games, there are some I would recommend.
I would have recommended GTA V due to it's great single player story as well as it's multi-player, but with how the game is right now I'm not so sure.
Rainbow 6 Siege is a great game as well, although it had a rocky start. Pretty good mechanics and gunplay.
Csgo is a decent game as well, can't really say much but the fact that the sounds now compared to the original sounds from pre-2015/16 (Forgot when the sounds update was) make the guns sound corny.
I would have also recommended Overwatch but after playing for a year, the game seems to lose it's luster.

I'm just going to stay out of this, but some really great games are COD: WWII or COD: MW2 or 3.

Other than that it's Fortnite or PUBG.

I have that game, it's pretty awesome.

Terraria is also really cool.

 

I wrote a mod for Don't Starve, it's just like TooManyItems for Minecraft. It should still be listed on the mods section on their website, I handed development over a few years back and haven't played since. There are a few who took up updating to newer versions. You should check it out.
