I recently came across this fun puzzle called Four Fours. Basically, the point of the game is to create a number using only the number four, and you have to use it exactly four times. Your are allowed to use mathematical operations to try to solve your number.

Example: (4!/4) +4-sqrt(4) = 8.

There are many different versions of this puzzle, however in this game you will be allowed to use the following mathematical operations:

I will start with the first number. There are multiple solutions to many of the numbers, it does not matter which one it is.

The next post should be number two, then number three, and so on.

 

Ironically, as I type this Im doing stats hw and I am not in a mood to do math. I'll just guess

2 = (4/4) + (4/4)

 

10= (2*5)

 

Try to make the next number, and out of only the number four, used exactly four times. Since 2 has already been solved, you have to try to make the number 3 by using exactly four fours. You can use any mathematical equation.

 

3 = ((4*4)-4)/4
