I heard about Minecraft my first week in kindergarten. (2011) A kid named Ethan was telling me about a mod where you could have everything (I thought that was cool) so I purchased Minecraft PE. I played back when zombies dropped feathers, before cows or baby animals even existed, Before Villagers, Before tnt lit in creative mode, Before the nether portal, when lava would leave a red “t” mark, and back when there were only wheat seeds. Oh yeah, and lava was red. Only red. No other color. Just pinkish red. And I almost forgot the classic Steve hurt sound. “Ooh”.
Minecraft Xbox edition released on my birthday in 2012 & I remember my friends telling me about it and saying they where going to get it so I got it for my birthday. It was one of the first games I had on Xbox.
I purchased Minecraft for my iPod in 2011. First I got the LITE edition which I still have, then the full version. Doors didn't exist, so I remember using brown wool for a door and red/white wool for a bed.
I got my main account in 2013 but I was playing the cracked version since 2012. I got into minecraft a little before i graduated.
That's Beta 1.5: pigs struck by lightning became pigmen, creepers became charged creepers, and powered and detector rails were added. Before dead bushes, tall grass, multiplayer nether, trapdoors, maps, shears, etc. I got it in my second last year of primary school, when I was 10 years old. I'd just moved to a new state, and I saw the game on Good Game Spawn Point (a show on ABC for young gamers). I've never had any edition other than the PC version because I don't have anything that its compatible with. Besides, PC master race
Oh my yes.... xD I remember having pocket edition on an old tablet and making awful survival worlds xd One time I used the nether reactor and lived in the netherrack fortress is made xD
I used to remember I got Minecraft around 2012 (didnt pay till 2013 lol) and I felt lonely. I always wanted to live near a village so I dont feel that lonely and that there is an npc I can be with. I miss the alpha version because the sound effects on those versions were legit the best. I miss the old door sounds a lot too
I saw my cousin playing Pocket Edition in 2011, so I decided to pick up the Lite version. I got the Xbox 360 version shortly after launch. We still have our worlds, but Microsoft really screwed up with the Bedrock Edition of the game, and I can’t get them from Xbox One to Bedrock Edition without the game freezing. Duping items was fun though. I wanted an account on PC for years, and I eventually got mine in 2015, which is probably way later than most people here.
Well I never really "purchased" any accounts. However back in 2012 I used to watch many minecraft youtube videos and I really wanted an account although I couldn't buy one. But my brother's friend gave my brother to use the account which is my alt now known as "thelegendarybert" and I used to play skyblock on it (I used to share with my brother) then a year or 2 my brother got another account from another friend and he started playing on that account and he let me borrow his second account "thelegendarybert" then I argued with him that I want it as my account cause he doesn't play on it anymore so he agreed after a while and then I was sad I couldn't change the name but I still played on it mainly in org but then my brother wanted the account I was playing on so I got mad and I was sad and a friend of mine on org decided to give me his alt which I am very grateful to him and now its called "BertBerry" so yea
