Some people honestly do not like the amount of perks donor400’s do not get. So, instead of disagreeing, let’s discuss some of the features we would like to have as donor400’s here.
I will explain something real quick. Donor 400 is a "retired" rank. It is no longer offered. Those who have it now got to because it would have been unfair to remove that rank since everyone else got to keep theirs. As such donor 400's cannot receive too many new perks because it would be unfair to those who can no longer buy the rank, and may cause tension in the community. If donor400's were to receive any more perks it would have to be cosmetic only and be something everyone else can get too. The rank was too "pay to win" (though i call it pay for perks since there isn't really a "win" At this point the donor400 rank feels fine and balanced. We get a decent amount of perks and since the return of a few missing perms its been fine. I would love a special disguise though.
Yea we really cant add anything since nobody else can buy the rank now.... Maybe a disguise makes sense though, it doesnt really affect gameplay too much. Its just a cosmetic after all.
I think the elytra was enough. Plus, 100 diamonds to all of the Donor400's? Wouldn't that start some unnecessary friction against us and the other donors? Like Krissy said, I think a cosmetic wouldn't do any harm would be ok.
I'm grateful for what the server has already provided for the donor400's but I still do wish, like most people, for more perks for the donor400. Yes, this sounds a bit greedy, but $400 is a good price to pay for an in-game rank and I believe that we should get what $400 would be worth. Lots of people say this would cause some controversy among the players and community but so what. If the lower ranks and people with no ranks argue that we have an unfair advantage, it's because we paid for the advantage. If you have a different point, please tell me.
if they disagree with the perks, it's their fault for DONATING 400 dollars. their problem. i think the perks they get is fine. buying donor400 means you were donating the money to cyp.. normally when you donate, you don't get stuff back. deal with it
you don't get tangible items back. non-tangible items, yes. It wouldn't be fair if we paid 400 dollars and didn't get anything. but we do get things back, like kits and special commands.
