I agree with this, it’s one of the reasons I don’t play, I mean it’s $400 for what? Pretty much just being still a skygod?

 

I really miss the donor100 and donor50 kits. If they add that back plus /setprefix, that's all I need to get satisfied. I don't really mind donor25 and 10 getting removed, as they were actually quite overkill.

 

I have to say, I have been grinding in the nether for days now and even with fortune on pickaxes and shoves, I only have 3 stacks of Quartz blocks, 1 1/4 stacks of gravel because of the nerf. And for you guys that are skygods and donor400 I can see where you are coming from so... Support.

 

I just did a small test in the nether. Saw no change but the fact that you have to travel further out to get gravel and quartz.. test was bring 10 food with me and I was able to get the same amount of drops as I have been getting all since nether release.

Also about d400 nerf . Easy fix and all d400 will be happy. Just give them 2 guardian eggs to compromise for the Big Nerf . Problem solved.

 

I can agree with you but I'm almost 100% sure that the donors don't bu the ranks to support the server, they purchase them so they can have perks such as fly mode and kits which contain some useful materials and items. I can admit that I am one of those people. Ok so moving on. I'm still gonna bring this back to the point that donor400 is a lot different than what it was. Since I and many others bought the rank for the perks received with it, we find that we didn't get we paid our money for. Again, I can agree it is a donation but customers are complaining that there not receiving what they thought paid their money for. Which was all the donor kits and store-bought kits along with the extra commands that come with the rank.

 

I classify it as a purchase not a donation, as you are exchanging money , for a goods or service, in this case perks and abilitys. (Like paying for a private car space)
The server owners say its going to hosting the server, but we aren't buying things in most cases to keep the server running, we are purchasing the perks. Ironically its called "Buy-Craft" and not "Donation Craft" so in a way the name is misleading to what it is 'supposedly' a 'donation'

And in the way the server is set out, it is very much set out as pay to win, more you pay the better player you are.

So all in all, I think there needs change, compensation, and clarity

 

I take back what I previously have said in the thread because this is kind of true.

NO WHERE on the skyblock shop does it say anything about donating and instead says ‘purchase’ or ‘buy’ meaning you are supposed to be getting goods or perks in return.

Very misleading indeed. Because of this recent information I do believe Cyp is owing to the players that have purchased ranks.
