Lag And Workload are on a spectrum.
You can either have quick and laggy, or smooth and time consuming.
In your above post, you mention time and effort, R&D, stuff SB currently doesn't have the resources to do. Any extra stuff created under these conditions would be buggy for a long time, and bugs slow computers down.

Also I never said that the plugin itself would cause server lag, I said that devs neglecting the current bug fixing and improving to work on and improve this would cause lag. Now if this was something that would have been an integral part of the play experience, then maybe it would be worth the server lag. However you want to add in some games which would really be just an add on. People come to SB for skyblocking, not mini games. And SB was never ment to compete with the servers that actually do PvP or Mini games. If you find yourself getting bored on SB, log out and find a server that suits your current interests.

I hate to say this, but you dont have an idea, you have a concept.
You got bored and thought to yourself, hey why don't they add some mini games?. You asked that on forums, and suggested some rules. You don't have a idea for a mini game plugin, you want someone to think of what it should actually be for you.

 

This won't happen lol this is strictly a skyblock server if you wanna play games go play on a server with games

 

I may not have been clear on this but, I wasn't really bored, I just thought it would be fun when there may be nothing to do sometimes. I am having second thoughts on this idea. You all have made great points. However, yes this was a concept and concept is a synonym of idea. Thank you for highlighting you points.

I mean it could work without lagging if it was in vanilla Minecraft and used no plugins and minimal redstone. It would keep players on the server for longer and could create a larger playerbase again.

 

Concept and idea are not that interchangeable. They are very close, but not quite. Concepts are general notions, ie we need games. An idea is something more concrete, ie we want to play hangman in chat.

Seeing as there is still no actual idea yet, as much as I would love to pick it apart, I can’t
