I am designing my island, and wish to create a mechanism that prevents players from using /jump to access an area. Is there any sort of passageway that can make this impossible for them to accomplish?
there is not really a way to stop people from jumping as I know of - but you can /lock. Wish there was a /jump toggle
well if i where you i would puta sign and if they do it tell them to leave or warnthem and if they keep doing it get a mod
This is somewhat effective, however if you really want to make it hard , make large areas filled with string. Seriously, for some reason jump hates it
if you make walls and floors 2-3 blocks thick they jump into middle of walls. they can spam the /jump command to get through still but it takes time and annoys some ppl.
What I'd do is make walls/floors a few blocks thick with string all the way through, it'd make it pretty tricky and frustrating to get through If you really wanted to slow them down (it would cost some grass) you could use cobwebs from /warp grass, that would usually put them off /jump xd
Currently I am not aware of any particular way of preventing /jump users. If I come up with anything i'll let you know.
I’ll try to search for a way to stop that, but in the meantime, if you don’t want people to get into areas, just lock your island. Solves the problem. Place random blocks in the air with space, so the can sometimes be looking through a hole and then jumping. It could mess them up. You can also try to get a error message stating “error: hold in floor” or something. Not sure.
