I remember in the classic server when gold nuggets were a subcurrency that could be exchanged for grass. About 12 nuggets a grass block. I know the economy has changed since then, but could we still fit nuggets into the economy somehow, or find a substitution that could act as less than grass blocks?

What are your thoughts?

 

I'm not too sure about this considering that things are in flux (?) regarding zombie pigmen: yesterday they were grindable for plenty of nuggets and ingots. I'm not certain what their current status is. For the time being, I'll have to say that I don't support this.

 

It was 9 golden nuggets for 1 grass. I loved that way of exchange for things less than 1 grass. Like grass is the £ and golden nuggets were the pennies. However, the economy has changed and I am unsure whether that would work now. You may need to get Krissy or someone who knows more about the economy because i currently am confused about the economy as things are changing.

No support. I have a bunch of them on my classic island, just taking up space for nothing. Its pretty much useless, other than making gold ingots and making golden apples

 

CloudShop uses fern, people can simply make do like we do. No support.

 

No support. As other people have said, people were able to get large amounts of gold from zombie pigmen, and there are plenty of other things that can be used as currency. I see no reason to bring back gold nuggets.
