4. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I was previously permanently banned on Hellblock because I was wrongly accused of attempting to ruin the economy as a moderator. The ban was reversed after a week and I was re-promoted.
   
5. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I made a really stupid mistake of duplicating my rares multiple times instead of throwing the duplicates out and messaging a moderator; I was too caught up in the moment and didn't think of the possible consequences I could face later on. I'm angry at myself as I now have to possibly wait a month to finish my island project simply because I wanted more rares. I'll hand over all the rares I duplicated (unless they were already confiscated). If I come across another duplication glitch I'll instead report it to a staff member immediately and not exploit it to avoid getting re-banned. I understand if my ban appeal is not accepted as duplicating is a very serious offense.

I apologize for the delay: My time is limited and I have to split it between handling in-game shifts and responding to forum posts. This means some replies take a short while to handle, especially if they deserve a thoughtful response (like yours). I am off shift at the moment and able to give this my full attention. Moving forward.

From what I understand regarding the logs it seems as if you were actively participating in a recent server error that briefly allowed item duplication. Duplication almost always results in horrific cleanup and "sanitizing" efforts, in this case almost a dozen players reported the problem and voluntarily disposed of the extra items they accidentally received. This really helps with the cleanup efforts and I tried my best to thank everyone who stepped forward.

However several people tried their best to take advantage of this problem to increase their personal wealth; this is not acceptable. It seems you may have been an active part of this group, ma'am.

From what I can see in the logs it appears as if you noticed the glitch and proceeded to knowingly use it several times. That is really not acceptable. However what pushed the issue to a new level is taking the fraudulent items and discretely giving them to your alternate accounts: This implies knowingly exploiting a glitch and attempting to hide the profits from being recovered by Staff trying to clean up the issue. This is surprising, to say the least.

From speaking with the community I have learned you are a previous Staff member, ma'am. So I am confused: You know the trouble this sort of thing causes and chose to willfully engage in it. A great deal of our community tells me that you are a good person: I am willing to take their word for it. I believe you are a wonderful person who simply made a bad series of decisions even though you knew better.

I look forward to seeing you online when your ban expires. In particular I would like to get to know you more; some of those players gave absolutely glowing reviews of you as a person and that always interests me. However it would be biased and unfair towards the other players who were banned for abusing this glitch if you received special treatment (and a shortened ban length) when they have to wait the full time.

I don't expect my complete honesty to change your mind on reducing my ban as it seems you're set on keeping the full duration of it, but lying won't change it either so it's best for me to continue being truthful.

I admit I did hide the duplicated rares on my alternative account: 12 netherstars, 3 beacons, and 3 spawners to be exact. I know I went the extra mile to try and hide them in hopes that I wouldn't get caught. I considered messaging a staff member about the exploit and handing over the duplicates but I never did and regret not doing so now. I'm sure that doesn't matter though because if I did I wouldn't be where I am now.

I also duplicated 2 stacks of gold blocks that are now placed on my island. They're in the form of a bell at the top of my castle/island. There's also 2 blocks of iron I duplicated in my rares chest.

I'm not sure how much of these have been confiscated because I am not up to date with the permissions staff members have, but these are all the items I duplicated in case they haven't all been taken yet.

As a former staff member of the community for more than 3 years I'm sure my actions don't make sense to those who viewed me as a good moderator and currently a good person. My lapse of judgment tarnished my clean record and most likely changed some people's views on me.

I don't really know why I decided to duplicate the netherstars/beacons and spawners because I had no intentions of placing, selling, or giving them away. This probably doesn't sound true though because

The only items I valued were the gold blocks because with the removal of gold drops obtaining 2 stacks of gold blocks to finish my build would of been very costly.

I know duplicating is never taken lightly and I know I am no exception. Serving the whole 31 days sounds right to me, as much as I wouldn't like to, but it's what I deserve. If that's your final decision then I'll accept it.
