Hello to anyone reading, my ingame name is xXSeboXx and i would appreciate your time if you would read what i have to say. Laini_ ( a mod ) was arguing with some guy in chat and said she was going to ban him but later when he asked about it she said, "i only was joking" along with KitKat (another player) supporting laini_ to ban him. the reason for them arguing and laini_ imposing a ban is not known to me as i only saw half way through it. the reason for my ban however i believe is not against the rules, I typed kitkats name and a bunch of random numbers divided but a couple of fullstops or dots in chat. this gave laini_ the impression that it was her IP address and banned me instantly without asking me what it was or giving me any time to explain that it wasnt a real ip (i have no idea how to get someones ip anyway). In the rules it states that their must be no release of private information, and the statement i released wasnt even information it was just random numbers. I typed this because i was going to ask kitkat why the other guy i presented earlier in this thread was getting banned, and once i realised it didnt matter anymore, that is when i typed the random numbers and dots.
i will however take some responsibility since i did type the letters ip in my ses intence. this why i believe my ban should be revoked as well as i think that the rules should be more specific to what you can and can not do. i also conclude that moderator status should not be given out to a younger ordinance as they cant fully hold the responsibility and use their powers as wisely as a person might be in their early 20s. Laini_ has stated in chat that she is 13 turning 14 in 2 or so days and this shows she part of a 'younger ordinance'.

hey sebo, i mostly agree with you, although it is partly your fault for mentioning ip. i dont think its enough for a ban.

 

laini is probably 1 of the best mods on the staff team, age doesn't matter and if u typed something that even looked like an IP I mean it was responsible for her to ban you as that is doxing and basically a ddos threat

Also I don't think it was very appropriate for you to make this post explaining how Laini is a bad mod or to young for her position, Instead you should probably go through the process of messaging her or making a ban appeal to see her perspective on this situation to understand her exact position and be more accurate.

Sure Laini likes to pull a few joke's now and then, however she is always mature when she is dealing with Moderator duties.

(I prefer not to get in depth in this due to me not knowing all the circumstances of this situation but I may edit this reply)

 

That’s not even what OP is saying. The fact is that Laini is a younger mod and that’s that. It’s up to her to prove her maturity or whatever. Her age does set her back it’s a logical fact that you’d have a more mature 18 year old than a 14 year old.

You posted something that said "Kitkat's IP" with a whole number of things that looked like IPs. That is bannable. If you cared to read the rules and respect them, we wouldn't be in this situation now, would we?



You're lucky I only banned you for a week. I could've banned you for three for being extremely inappropriate but I didn't. I didn't because I hoped that you would learn from your mistakes but clearly you haven't.

Take a long hard look at what you've done in the last two days. Absolutely ridiculous.
In no way does my age factor into your sanction. It was your behaviour. Nowhere did anyone ask you to filter evade, make sexual remarks, swear, or harass individuals. That was all down to you.

That is your fault.

You were banned for a reason. Quit complaining and suck it up.
