Before you respond, please read the details. I have tried the usual methods as far as I know.

I don't have my own island; I'm trusted by the owner of the island where I "live." Next door to us, within sight, there is an island that has been abandoned since I joined "my" island many months ago. I think it would be fun to be my own neighbor. The original player wasn't active for more than a few weeks from the looks of it.

I have asked numerous mods for advice, and they have been helpful. Based on their advice, I have written skyblock email to the owner (identified by the mods) to ask if they are willing to sell. I have never received a response. Based on info from mods, the owner has to relinquish control. And so I am stuck in limbo.

If somehow this could happen, I know there would be rules to follow about resource sharing, illegal trade, etc., even though we are neighbors and allies. I am okay with that. Let the record show that I and my island mates are good citizens and rule followers. I just like the idea of starting anew with a familiar view. And if a bridge could connect us, so much the better.

Now that the server is about to be upgraded, I have the sinking feeling that the island will soon disappear and I will be sad. I thought I would try here just in case anybody has any further suggestions or help to offer. Thanks in advance.

You can do just about anything as long as you pay Cypriot the money he's looking for. I know someone who bought 2 or 3 rabbit spawners for $10 each from Cyp. I also agree that its been since the store purchases go to his Paypal.

It's a good idea. I did something similar in email. But it's obvious the island has been abandoned since we first noticed it many months (years?) ago. The player never comes on the server; the island never changes. And also I'm pretty sure the mods told me they could tell there were no log ins. Thanks for the suggestion though.
