We have great admins. Yes we may need another one but suggest someone who is enough mature, knows a lot about the server. There are a lot of players who help and are nice but that doesn’t make them qualified for Admin.

Cypriot listens and so does Crew. It may seem like they don’t care but they do and they are trying their best to keep the server alive. Drop parties, advertisements and more we probably don’t know about.

 

Cyp is probably sitting, watching this thread thinking we all hate them

Skyblock has slowed down and its a fact that we can't deny. That is what I think created the idea for the new server.Unfortunately, there have not been many updates on what the server will be like or when it will be released. It has been around 7-8 months since the announcement of the new server and what progress has been made? We don't know! I have friends who have their doubts about this new server and to be frank, I don't believe this server will be out for quite some time. Around a month ago I heard Myrmidous talking about island expansions being a possible integration for player islands. The fact that a new idea was proposed gives me the impression that this server is still in the planning phase. Although it may sound as if I'm criticizing the new server, I'm just being honest. Going back to Diet's question, I think this server has slowed down because like many others here have said, things like this just happen with time. Cypriot has gotten older and I'm guessing he is starting to move away from Minecraft, but personally, I think he should care a little bit more about something he makes money on. I believe the key to keeping the community thriving and growing is the new server. It would bring new game elements and new ideas which the current server hasn't changed ever. Sorry to bore you with my long response but I'm just putting my ideas out there

 

It's the same with any server, people come and go. There's only so many times you can create a new island and find satisfaction in it. Minecraft as a game isn't as popular as it was in previous years - but compared to some servers there is still quite a large player-base here considering it's a dedicated 'Skyblock' network.

As Fun said in an earlier post, staff will come and go, it's always been like that - it's just more noticeable now the team has decreased in size.

And finally, during the week you will find that player count will inevitably drop anyway, as people typically have more commitments then than over the weekend.

 

skyblock is completely dead. between the fact that they had no idea how to advertise their server, or manage a server with that many people, i dont know how much more obvious it could be that they wanted money, they got money, thats it. half the staff are as toxic as the community as a whole. minecraft is also dead in itself, if we're being honest, i dont see skyblock making it to the end of the year unless they start taking action and improving their server

 

cyp cant do that. hes as toxic as his community.

 

I heard from a few close people to him that he is a nice person once u get to know him so I dont think he is toxic

 

he's making a pretty valid point tbh. unless he's changed within 2 years, which is unlikely but ya never know
