So, I came back on minecraft after not being on for about 2 months, and I actually come back to being banned? I'm banned for: Griefing/ Massively looting a mod's island.
I don't see how so, the closest thing I can think of to this is when there was mob/pvp arena. There was a guy that said to do /jump to HIS island. So, when I went up there he had quite a bit of stuff and I asked him if I could have the nether warts that where growing, and he said yes, so I broke them, and replanted a few and went home. That's the only think I have done, I haven't griefed anything, I asked a guy that claimed that was his island if I could have some of him nether warts. This is in .net, I feel this ban is incorrect, I didn't do anything wrong. All I broke was netherwarts after asking the guy who supposedly owned the island. I have invested about $65 in the server, it's a fun server, I really want to come back!

Govo's island warp was leaked, I guess you were one of the looters.

 

I didn't even loot it, or warp, I took netherwarts, replaced what I took, and left. I didn't warp either. I /jump because a guy told me to jump to his island :/

 

I didn't even grief it though, I replanted what I got extra of the netherwarts, why can't I be unbanned? There has 6 nether warts, I broke them, then replanted..

That'd be really hard since Govo doesn't have a proper ban log so we can't find out whether his words are true or not.
I think we should wait a few days for Govo to show up somewhere, or mail him if he doesn't.

I hope this is my last case, as I won't be online often. As xita4 said, I am going inactive for a long time.

I will not decide whether you will be unbanned or not, but I will at least provide some evidence of you being on my island:


Now, Collin, you saw the island, and you did see the locked chests. They were locked to players "govorunb" and "CypriotMerks", and you most definitely knew who those two people were. So "I don't know whose island was that" isn't an excuse. By the way, you probably looked inside the chest that had my spawners in it. Common sense would tell anyone that such amount of valuable items isn't obtainable by legit means, so the island belongs either to a mod or to a hacker.

Touching stuff on moderators' islands is bannable, and you know that. You also know that we have LogBlock and even if you replanted everything, you would still be on the records.

Again, I'm going inactive and I probably won't respond in time if this case is bound to me, so I ask you mods to take over.

 

I actually didn't see any chests, I only focused on the netherwarts, I didn't look in any chests, nor see any. I only asked the guy if I could take some of those and that's exactly what I did, and that's all. Even in the picture you can see that. All there was is record of netherwarts, in which, I did replace.

Well, the ones I broke I replaced.

 

Not really my say here, but, He Did Plant nether warts before taking some. Griefing is still Bad, and Not knowing isn't really an excuse. Though at least he was a Thoughtful unknowing Griefer who is honest, and does genuinely seem sorry.

Thanks, I know griefing is bad, but I don't see it as really griefing? No harm done, right? Nothing was lost, I replaced it all, I got the items removed anyways. So, nothing was Lost, nor gained.
