This is not a mod application. I would just like to say -
I recommend Myrmidous for admin, developer, or manager. If you asked most of the Skyblock community, they would say Myrm was the greatest mod ever. Myrm is kind to the community, can do well, and they always try their best. If you agree to this post, either comment or like it so Mr. Cyp or Mr. Noobcrew can see it. If you are a mod, I am not sure if this is in the right area. If it isn't, please move it. Best regards -

I don't see how he contributes more to the community than any other Moderator does?

Can you give me a solid reason why you think he deserves a higher position rather than, "tries their best" because I don't see him contributing more other than his general moderation stuff and random profile posts.

 

I personally think him having the Super Moderator rank is more than enough. Plus, I don't really think there would be a point in him being an admin, dev, or manager as he can already carry out his duties with his current rank.

 

He's a paid moderator, as Dane said he doesn't contribute anything major to the community. However Myrm is a wonderful mod.

 

Since when do Skyblock super mods get paid for moderating?

Sorry for my derailment there, let me get back on topic.

It’s not up to the community to decide whether a staff member gets promoted or demoted at all. Feedback from the community on a moderator application might help bring motivation to the applicant, but in reality, the current staff team are the ones influencing who is going to get promoted, not the community.

That said, this thread will basically influence nothing towards any future positions for Myrm. It might, but I highly doubt it.

 

Myrm literally says my shift is up in chat all the time. If you asked him he says hes a paid moderator. At least last time I checked he was.

 

Hilarious a mod gets payed but a dev doesn’t get payed, developing for free is just the biggest joke ever, I’ve never met a dev or anyone who works for free. On the other hand I also have no clue why a moderator gets payed unless that moderator actually had an administrative position which it is not apparent he does.

 

This is honestly hilarious that people think he's good if Myrmidous gets promoted I quit.

 

To be honest Leeeroieee should be an admin or something. Since the day of his promotion he worked very hard for us and made the server a better place. For example take the horrible server lag we used to get when there was 50+ players. Poof disappeared after a while cause of him. And the new server he worked very hard with JustMatt so thanks to them mostly. Leee really made a positive change in the community. Also in me as he is one of the mods I always depend and count on him.

Sadly cause of timezones I rarely see myrM like after midnight. He is hillarious and great. Also some players consider him as a role model which is also great but its like too early for these kind of promotions.

Both Lee and Myrm are wonderful moderators and I'm delighted to see them as super moderators, but as far as I'm concerned, Fun and Kera are doing an excellent job as managers so far. Skyblock's not really wanting for more managers.

 

I think this thread only got popular because I posted in it.

 

I'm very touched by the kind words, everyone. I honestly don't know what to say.

 

Sorry if you don't agree. I do not mean to offend any mods. What I'm trying to sat is that Myrm and many other mods deserve some kind of bigger recognition. As for reasons, Myrm is always online, and no marter what he would answer a question to help a player. You guys can all have your opinions on mods. I just think some of them deserve more recognition.

Every Moderator is dedicated to the community and to the server. Their job is to make the experience of the players better. Myrm isn’t the best nor is the worst. Let me just add that Myrm has a wife and cannot spend a lot of time online ( Admin should ).

This isn’t Youtube lol. Don’t beg for likes, because players will give the opposite.

 

Ye cause you really deserve it. Krissy is right with you being the best mod in the staff team (ps: To other staff members you are great and keep the hard work 3)
