hey, I just lost a sponge by misplacing it and removing it then it landed on stairs and fell through the void. My witnesses are Laini the mod and the person who traded it to me is Rmv6. Is there any way I could get it back?

Sadly, dropping sponge is equivalent to loosing a diamond, grass, or anything. There is no way to get it back. Just an unlucky mistake.

Unless someone donates you a sponge which is highly unlikely. Though they may donate some grass and diamonds if you ask.
