Hi! I decided to put a little back into the server by making a tips thread which I will be updating frequently.

Tip I : Cheaper obsidian.
Obsidian is very useful for building, function, and getting lava, but one grass per block is expensive, especially in bulk or for new players.
FIX!!
Step one: If you are a donor, buy an enderchest from /warp Donor for 5 grass. If not, many shops sell them such as /visit Skyshop. Once you’ve done that, place it and break it with a non-enchanted diamond pickaxes. Easy to obtain, ask a [Donor] if they need the pick from their kit. Most won’t it and will comply willingly, including myself (catsettos)! Once you break the chest, you will get 8 obsidian. 8 blocks for the price of 5!

Tip II : Getting diamonds. Fast.
Lots of users want to know how I advanced through Skyblock’s multilayered and out-of-whack economy so quickly.
If you’ve heard the phrase ‘Flipping’ in relation to houses, it’s like that! You buy something cheaply, then sell it for a bit more. A starter example is spawners. Buy a spawner for 4 diamonds—a reasonable price— and sell it for 5. Look! A diamond!
Once you’ve done this for a while with low scale items, you can even do it with heads and beacons.

Did your lava turn into obsidian? Don't worry -- just right click the block with an empty bucket and you'll get it back!

With the obsidian you should add that if you right click it with an empty bucket it gives you lava!

 

Good idea -- it's the simple things I forget.

 

Maybe remove the fact Obsidian can be used for building. It shouldn't be used for building. Even untrusted Players can steal placed Obsidian from your Island with an empty bucket, and it's not logged for the mods to retrace AFAIK.
