Maybe not. Americans only comprise about 69% (no, I didn't make that stat up) of the server, so you're excluding nearly a third of all players who don't know/care/celebrate this holiday. Besides, it's just a month after the Halloween head, and just a month before the Santa head: I think we have enough drop parties at this time of the year.
You shouldn't be rude towards people who have ideas. I am sure ideas you have had are not always the best. Be considerate towards others. I don't think Thanksgiving is important enough for a head. We didn't have one for other international holidays so to be fair, there shouldn't be one for an American tradition and holiday.
changed sos didn't think about what i was writing Yo parker i don't think this is rlly needed. Its not that big of a holiday.
Coming as an outsider to America and an Australian, overall there would be no support. It would be cool to see a new type of head, however, in Australia atleast thanksgiving doesn’t have any significant impact on us. If a thanksgiving head was realised, why not an Australia Day one aswell? There wouldn’t, and as Lycel said, ‘Americans only compromise 69% of the server.’ So a majority wouldn’t even know what Australia Day is about, and wouldn’t have such a demand for the head, as outsiders into America wouldn’t have for a thanksgiving head.
Whats a hanoukka? XDD I celebrate Ramadan though but the problem is not all of the players celebrate Ramadam. More like Eid al fiter.
I don't think it is necessary. First of all what others said about the other people who are not American, they may not know what a turkey head is or what thanksgiving is. Letting a turkey head into the economy would kill it even more, considering the fact that there are many heads in circulation and are dropping in value. That would be more favored to a small minority of the server and considering the fact that majority of people don't know what Ramadan is (I know what it is because I have muslim friends) I don't think it is a good idea. Think of it as like this; You create a holiday called national V6 day, celebrating all cars with a V6 engine, yet the majority of the Americans don't know what a V6 is.
Alright guys, thanks to those who support!! Also, those who don't I understand why and agree with you.
It’s rather unnecessary, for example, I live in Britain and we have nothing to do with thanksgiving. It would be like, let’s do a drop party for the 5th of November, but then that may not apply to Americans, or people for other countries. We have our Easter drop party, and our Halloween drop party, and our Christmas drop party. Having another one would be alright, but one that affects more of us, and not just people that live in one country.
Dont forget that majority of the world doesnt know what thanksgiving is and dont celebrate it. I think when me means thanksgiving he means eating Turkey, which in that case is what christmas is for (britian and america)
In fact it exists in Germany. It's called "Erntedankfest". But it remains a niche celebration on a world scale (like Halloween that said), so still no support.
We didn't have the annual Halloween drop party yet so there really is no rush. As many others stated, Thanksgiving is not a world wide holiday, and is mainly a popular holiday in only America.
