So on the teamspeak you could buy premium to get a channel. Maybe we could not make a premium rank, but allow people to pay like $5 for a voice channel? Not text channel don't think, or you could pay extra for that too. Also all the premium channels should be in a category of "Premium Channel" so that people can click the dropdown so the channels disappear if they do not wish to see it.

Tbh I feel as if people who paid for the Teamspeak rank should get a private channel on the Discord because TS is basically dead now.

I am not sure if there is a way to implement a voice channel just for that person, but I really do not see why. On the Teamspeak ones you could talk privately with your friends, on here you are able to call them, neutral.

 

I mean, I don't really see a purpose but to support the server. Though it would be interesting to see, neutral. Also, the leveling system already has something like this, where only trusted members can join certain channels.

 

It will be hard to implement and work with if we do this because if players want the channel to be private to only their friends, we’d have to give their friends a rank and it would just be all over the place in general. no support.

 

Honestly what’s the point of it. On teamespeak it always seemed like a very private place that you could talk instead of constantly changing channels trying to escape eavesdroppers. And actually those private premium channels were kind of stupid because before then we even had the ability to create private channels where you had to ask for the password.

And for discord? Seems retarded.
