• Was this an incorrect ban? I think so to my knowledge, I did not once wish upon death upon this person however i admit to swearing/calling them names however this is set back and forth.

• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? For accidently running an illegal skin comp which i had to clue about at the time.

• Why do you think you should be unbanned? As i have stated, this person honestly wanted me banned for a couple of reasons however it has came to my understanding that i did NOT wish upon death on him so i thought maybe it was a fake screenshot, especially if my nick was Blue because thats easy to fake as u could get a friend to set their nickname to it then get them to message them saying offensive stuff then the friend changes nick before the person does /realname. Honestly, this player is very twisted in my opinion, and I can assume that they are enjoying reading this in the archive knowing they got me banned because thats what they wanted. i could probably find a screenshot of this person saying worse stuff to me however I decide not to stoop to their level. Anyway could the mod who banned me re-examine the screenshot as I have 99% not wished upon death on this person and I'm trying to demonstrate my anger right now through this but its kinda hard as i definitely did not do this. I feel if i were to get banned for anything it would be for swearing so the message is very incorrect to me. Sorry for rambling but I am very annoyed that this has happend especially a 31 day ban. Im assuming the screenshot showed me using the nick 'Blue', isn't it in your power to prove that his screenshots were legit?

 

May I also state that this also started with a two way arguement as people in the server may have witnessed, the reporter has even described to me before how to fake messages, I honestly can't get out of this as he has provided an undetectable fake screenshot which could be easily re created. I'm not the most familiar with faking screenshots however with all my heart I can farely say that it was faker than Kylie Jenner -)

 

The screenshots looked pretty legit to me. The player included realname proof as well, the only way I would be able to help you with your claim of "fake evidence" is if you gave me proof that you were nick abused.

 

You state how 'legit' it seems however that is so easy to mimic especially if the reporter had a d100 friend honestly i cannot prove i was /nick abused because how can I? You have no way of detecting this fake report and you are more than likely going to proceed to allow me to follow a 31 day ban for something I didn't do. If so i understand as this is not really detectable for you.

 

I'm going to proceed with this ban appeal as if you did it. Why did you tell someone to "go die"?

 

What? First of all I do not use the term 'go die' and second of all I know that a 31 day would have followed that statement, you must understand my rage when you even know there is a possibility this is fake however it is undetectable as I have said, if i were stoop as low as to use the terminology 'go die' I wouldn't be as so dumb to allow the other person to report me. I appreciate you trying to undertstand my perspective but i guess its not enough.

I am considering what you've written so far and will be replying later tonight.

 

I couldn't sleep before I say this: it is very apparent that i could have been 'framed' however I realize there is no way to tell or not. Considering things I have already said its up to you to deal with this in a fair manor. I understand if you cannot un-ban me but i really cannot be bothered to put anymore effort into this matter. I will wait the 31 days if matters are not deal able although I might not be returning.

 

It is important to me that players be treated fairly. I will do my best to determine whether the evidence against you was falsified.

 

I've reached out to Cyp to ask if he can search through today's server chat logs to see whether they contain the reported death wish, and if so, who sent it. Because of time zone differences it may be a while before he can get back to me. I'll try to have an answer from him by this time tomorrow.

 

Whilst looking through the chat logs, you will see the reporter and me arguing continuously, and him going on his altt 'TheDizzyPug' to tell me how I'm getting banned - he did this on an alt because he wouldn't care if it got banned but you can probably check that the accounts are assigned to the same computer/IP.

 

I have confirmed from the server logs that the evidence against you was falsified:

I have lifted your ban and banned both of accounts responsible for 31 days after consulting with staff managers and the community.

I'm very sorry this happened to you, Blue. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I believe my actions have sent a strong message to the perpetrators and the community that this sort of thing will not be tolerated.

In the future, please do not engage with players who exhibit baiting behavior, and please refrain from swearing in private messages unless you know that the person you are chatting with will not take offense. My advice is that whenever you feel yourself getting upset over a discussion, simply state that you do not feel comfortable continuing this discussion and /ignore the player until you've had a chance to cool down. While it may feel satisfying to swear at someone who is annoying you, it escalates the situation and complicates matters needlessly.
