It'd be really easy to add and really nice to keep the forums clean.

 

I support this, but I recommend that you edit that the off-topic archive post count should be DISABLED so that archived off-topic threads don't gain post count to people.

Eh. I'd be worried that off-topic threads may be deemed "unworthy" and moved to the archive, when previously the off-topic section has been a place where (so long as it doesn't break any rules) anything goes. I don't personally go into the off-topic section and think to myself "Grr I hate that there are 268 pages to this section" - it pretty much never bothers me. Really, it's not hard to navigate, as it's not as if we'll ever get it to below 100 pages, so the search function works fine.
Neutral leaning toward no support I guess?

Off topic is already a cesspool as is, letting the threads drift away onto new pages isn't a problem.

 

Support, like almost all the sections have an archived sections of them. So I see why not?

eH IDK. like i guess but then idk, like i mean its off topic but like sometimes people still like to bump their threads in off topic?? like imo i dont think in this section the mods get to decide whether or not this thread stays or gets archives. like it wouldn't hurt and it doesn't exactly matter if people gravedig bc u can't get msgs from off topic section so theres no worries on post farming but yeah dont mind me blabbering, i'll go with neutral
