zChronix's Mod Application

Introduction:
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Rahul and i'm 15 years old. I love playing Skyblock.net (sometimes skywars) and playing basketball, baseball and football. When I grow up, I would either like to become an NBA player or become a computer programmer. Also I made one like before but I can't edit it, so I copied it and re-edited on this new thread. Well here it is:

I speak 3 different languages: Hindi(Dominate), English(Secondary, professional) and currently taking Spanish 2.(Currently know a lot of words in Spanish)

Yes, now I do because of what Cypriot stated.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes, I do. I know how to take screen shots(F2) and I use a Bandicam, which is a lot easier.

Why do you think you should be a mod?
I, zChronix should be a Mod because I can help the community by staying active, helping others in general, start fantastic drop parties (if necessary), and this isn't really a good thing, but people have been doing good so far: Banning people who advertise, grief, and spam constantly. If a player is spamming on the chat bar saying "look>> buy the...." multiple times. I wouldn't just ban on purpose to show off for superiority, only for reasons that have to be done. There are also younger kids who wouldn't want to be seeing people cursing or arguing on the chat bar(saying the "F" word and etc), so that would be a one-way ticket to a temp-ban. I also want to answer questions on the server. People who are new to skyblock might want to know about what they can do as a regular person this sever. They also might need to know some of the commands to get them started. This is how I can help others out. If the staff need to plan ideas out like incoming events, I would certainly be happy to help. I don't want the people of this sever to rule(only Noob and Cypriot can, of course)because it can ruin their reputation and server itself.

Qualities
Committed:
I truly love this server with all my might and will be online everyday. I strive to grow this server as best as I can (as well as other Mods).

Trusted:
I am trusted because I never take anyone's items or grief on people's islands for my needs. As mod, I assure anyone that I can be trusted.

Fairness:
I never criticize people of their rank or who they are in general because everyone is equal. As they say "Treat others they way you want to be treated." Also if an incident happens, then I won't choose a person because of their rank compared to a regular person on skyblock.

Kindness:
I am very kind to other players of this server. For example, many new-members of Skyblock.net would say "Can anyone help me with my new island," and I know that would be a great time to prove myself. I know that a MOD's job is not helping a person build their island, but maybe to help with the commands.

Honesty:
I am always honest to myself and other players. If actually did something wrong to hurt someone or something,(never have) I would tell the truth and take the blame. Good thing that there is /Ma J.

Mature:
I am not immature or funny at serious moments. One time, I had experienced two people arguing on the chat bar. I have also experienced this when other players were typing words(really abusive like) on the chat bar that no person would want to hear.

Enthusiasm:
With being committed to the server, I also am enthusiastic about building and planning new ideas. I can plan out(with others as well) when the next big drop party is, or when we should update the server itself by building new things.

Active:
I am not only active in-game, but also on the forums(and will continue to). I want to take pride in writing important works(like this Mod application) as well as playing on Skyblock, thus being active. If anyone would like to contact me, feel free.

Grammar:
When I type on the chat bar, I always make sure that what i'm saying is understandable. I also type really fast which helps me in a lot of situations, such as answering a question. This would go for a fast-typer trait.

Social:
When I do get in conversations, I chat a lot. When I chat a lot, I ask questions which helps me when I get feed back. If anyone asks- for example,"Where can I get food?" I would help this person by saying "It's /warp animal."

Environmentally Friendly:
As a moderator it is my job (others as well) to keep the environment safe. If I were in a bad mood, which is probably never going to happen, than I still, would try to keep players' surroundings safe.

Loyal:
If I say I will do something for a player, I will do it eventually, so basically I will finish what I began. Since many people are loyal to me, I will stay the same for them.

Observant:
I always make sure I watch my surroundings, as well as watching messages from the chat. I'm always ready if a player sends me a message about grief, theft, or etc.

Don't Hold Grudges:
If I've experienced altercations with other players because they stole my items, I wouldn't just ban them as soon as they are online. Since the past is the past I wouldn't let my hate on that player. I'd also would probably forget about it anyways.

Understanding:
If a problem gets out of hand, I listen to both sides of the story. As said in being fair, I do not choose by rank but by story and if it makes sense.

How long can you be active on the server every day?
Here is my schedule on average because I have to go to lots of places and events that affect my time to play.

Sunday- 2:00-4:00

Monday- 3:30-5:30

Tuesday- about 3:30-5:30

Wednesday- 2:00-5:00

Thursday- 3:30-5:30

Friday- 3:00-6:00

Saturday- 1:00-4:00 or 5:00-8:00

(I also like to alternate in between game play and forums)

*So it seems that I average about 3 hours of Minecraft
game play*

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I've actually been playing Skyblock for 3 years; I also accidentally forgot my other account for the forums. Playing this server it made me love even more, so I kept playing.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
Yes, I have been banned because I had advertised a server. Now, I won't do that because my mistakes have been learned. I also got banned from *server* because I let my cousin take over who for one, is very good at hacking so I think you would know what happened from there.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, I have had past experience as a Moderator on my friend's server. He let me be one because I had passed a test and he said I was qualified as being a Mod. I hope I get to show my results if I am a Mod on this server. The test was more of a troll type than professional. One of my other friends let me be a Mod on his server because I am "a pretty good builder," in his words.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
I think I do meet the requirements for being a staff member. After all the work I put in to this application and how long I've been used to getting to the forums itself, as well as game play, I may meet the requirements. I'll also make sure to up my post count.

I've been on .net for 5 years and i made a mod app a long time ago. You probably wouldn't remember me.

 

I would love to rate your mod app and give a definitive rating, but I quite honestly have never seen you online under the IGN or nickname that you've provided. I'll keep an eye out for you so that I can do a proper analysis and review of your application.

Needless to say, I'm neutral for now.

I don't really know who you are. I don't remember seeing you in 2015, and I assume you only returned recently. You application is long enough, but it's extremely generic and more waffle than meaningful words. As I don't know you, I can't really judge whether or not you would make a a good moderator. I would advice making sure the community knows you better before applying. Also, the incongruence between your names is bothering me
I'll leave whether or not I support you until I know you a bit better.

No support, you were rather disrespectful when I stated my opinion about the whole Haramabe story. I also don't see you putting in the effort to help others or be of any use whenever you're on other than being rude. You're also quite inactive.

Work on those and I might change my rating. But for now, its a no support.

Hello! I have seen you in-game once, that was today. Here are the problems I've found:
-Only 68 posts, showing you aren't incredibly active on the forums.
- Only seen you on once.
- Your grammar is not looking too good.
- You not only were pretty rude in-game, but also to other people rating your application.
- You weren't helping out in-game.
- Some of those moderator commands are incorrect, for skyblock. (However, different servers might have different commands)
Overall, I can't seem to find something positive that greatly stands out. For now I have to say No Support. Hopefully I will see you in-game and possibly switch my status in the future. Good luck!
Also, you seem to have given everyone but yourself a no support. That I don't find very kind, it also shows you're selfish. I would love for you to post some feedback on my application.

EDIT: Also, the fact that you aren't aware of TMods being gone, not only shows how you've just come back, but also the fact that you don't pay much attention.

 

i only disagree with a couple of things (yes i have come back just now, but if my profile says i'm an active member, you can assume that when I was on a long time ago, I was indeed active)
1. I'm not rude clearly the story above was nonsense because he called my nick a dead meme, so I won't render myself defenseless to him.
2. I always help people in the chat, if they ask for godding or etc
3. The t-mod thing was a misunderstanding, I had copied pasted the thread title from my old app.

 

It wasn't based off of the story about your nickname. I was just watching chat, and you werent too nice about anything.
I'll forgive you on the Tmod thing, however, godding and things like that; they don't require you to be a mod to do that. You can stay a donor that just helps out.

Is it your opinion that you're saying you're a great person? I have never talked to you before and heck, even seen you on forums or in-game. Also, there isn't skywars on this server so why mention it? I suggest adding a comma after "Also" and getting rid of the "like" after the word "one"

Giving people items aren't exactly what a mod does. Many people already do "Fantastic drop parties" but it's nice I guess that you give to the community. I see some spelling errors. changed "sever" to server. Your reponse to "Why do you think you should be mod" is a bit generic as Lycel said. Some of those things you can do now, you dont have to become mod to do. Answer questions for people (if a mod is not already online). Somethings in here could be said in better words. Reword things

Everyone is immature at times. You aren't normal if you aren't immature. That experience isn't really a fact of being mature. It's just saying a way people were being immature. Flame wars in chat happen, but they aren't all immature. They break out if someone is being bullied or has an opinion. At least people are standing up for what they believe in.

First of all, environment isn't a trait. Everyone has bad days when they are in a bad mood. You shouldn't say that it's probably never going to happen because it will. (Punctuation tip, add a comma after the word moderator.)

Remove the word "would" at the end. It sounds weird. I don't really get the main concept of this paragraph.

I think you're a bit messed up here. You said to Benji that you were on net for 3 years but here it says 3.

You do meet the requirements but your post count is relatively small for someone who's been playing for 3 or 5 years. I know you said you forgot the password to your old forums account. Can you tag your old forums account for me? If you've been here for a long time your post count must be large

Overall you have a small chance of becoming a mod. I have absolutely no idea who you are. I recommend closing it for now and reopening it when you get some ground on the server. Get to know the people around here. I don't give no supports easily so, for now, im going to be Neutral leaning to no support. Good luck
