In the ban appeal section 3/4 of the appeals are from chargebacks that other people have done to a player. My suggestion is that if players have proof of who upgraded them to a rank then that person would be banned instead of the player who was upgraded. Instead they'd just go back to their rank before the chargeback. It's extremely unfair how players have to suffer a punishment for actions they did not do.
Example:
Dough: I want an upgrade to donor400!
Player: Sure I'll do it for you! 750 diamonds please!
Dough: Here you go!
Player: There I did your upgrade!
Dough: OMG thanks so much!
Player: Dang it I need money to buy my 175th fidget spinner.. -chargebacks-
Dough: Oh no I'm banned :[ -appeals-
Moderator: Do you know who upgraded you, and do you have proof of this?
Dough: It was player! Here is an image. <image with trade with person>.
Moderator: Thanks I'll ban them, was your previous rank donor250?
Dough: Yes.
Moderator: Okay, you're donor250 now!

How it would work above would make more sense than the player with the account chargebacked gets banned.

I was thinking of suggesting this idea before a few months ago but I never did. Anyways support cause that did be so unfair as the player who other player bought him the rank gets charge backed and is innocent and doesn't deserve that so the guilty one, the one who charge backed him would be banned instead..

The thing is that BuyCraft is set to automatically ban the player after he was chargebacked. The system bans the players with the rank and not the one who bought it, I've used BuyCraft and I haven't found a way to configure it so the player that has bought the rank/perk to be banned and the player with the new rank to be deranked to his previous rank.

Yes a moderator would go locate the items.

What would happen is that the player would be banned at first, then they create an appeal and show proof that a different person did it to them. So they would be unbanned and that player would be banned. Like so in the example.

I agree but the deranking has to be done manually by someone who has access to PeX and so the unban as well.

I don't think that's possible to do with BuyCraft but it may be.

I've been chargebacked before and its so frustrating. But what if you don't know who chargebacked you? Like they buy you an item without you knowing and then chargeback. You have no proof of who did it.

Exactly what I stated a couple minutes ago. There's not much you can do in this situation but spend the money to be unbanned

 

Theres No Way To Really Stop That Besides Figuring Out What IP Was Involved In The Charge Back And Then Doing Some Investigating Sadly
