I guess valid feedback isn't wanted, hm. Seeing as any post that disagreed with that useless addition was removed. This is why you don't have thirteen-year-old children as staff managers.
If this was the post saying something like "wondering why this uncessarry add on was implemented when there's other stuff needed to be done", I'm gonna bet this was Cyp who removed it with this alert and not the 13 year old staff manager you're referring to. Just my assumption.
I wonder who the 13 year-old staff manager would be.... (I actually don't know lol, we have like a couple staff managers)
Regardless, what was added is completely useless and no one, I repeat, no one asked for it to be added. I don't even recall a suggestion thread regarding 'recent visitors'. There are around, I don't know, ten things that have been suggested that should be a higher priority than what was done. Suggestions that have been around for years that are actually useful are ignored and not added. Instead, we get off-topic being moved around, a gaming section that is completely deserted besides a few posts in the entire week it has been there, and a recent visitors thing that provides nothing. Any valid feedback is ignored and deleted with a passive-aggressive 'k' that just proves that no one cares about feedback and the community. It's deplorable.
The whole issue is that sometimes criticism can overstep what is constructive. It becomes more of "hey, staff are s*** and do this wrong" instead of "staff can improve on". "I feel like there are other things that could have been added that are useful such as..." would have been far more constructive than what was said. Hence the removal of the post. In other words the feedback given would be more appreciated as a statement which doesn't degrade the admin rather than one which does. Making the admin out to only care about frivolous things isn't going to be well received. There is only one person I know who can remove a message like that without getting in trouble. Because if I did i'd get a real spanking (daddy pls) More importantly yes, some people really hate the new addition and I am sure if enough people complain in a polite way that maybe it will be reconsidered. But I don't think threads like this help at all. In fact it hinders the impact an opinion makes in the future.
