So with the recent threads that CypriotMerks made is "Fresh Skyblock" but many people thought that skyblock.net will reset but no, many players understood the thread in a wrong way, and what CypriotMerks really meant is adding a whole new skyblock server and letting the current skyblock.net as the classical one, so here is the proof exactly from the thread itself that many people understood it wrongly.

So we start off from the title. He said Fresh Skyblock but if it was a reset he would of call it possibly "Skyblock.net Reset" but he never did that, if you search in mineverse forums, news and announcements you can see "Skyblock Reset", "Prison Reset", "Op Factions Reset" and "Op Prison Reset" which are all found here. So yes, if he announced that Net would be reset he would change the title to something like "Net Reset" as also Noobcrew made a thread named "Skyblock.org Reset" which clearly shows org will have a reset soon.

Here's CypriotMerks explaining more. He said that skyblock will be reset but never mentioned why or is he adding a new Skyblock server? He mentions it will not be deleted or possibly reset to make players worried but he said it will be "The Classical Skyblock" thus hinting at a new server added

And with the new economy or new server being clean, donor400's creative items will not be a thing in the new hardcore server but Elytra Wings instead. The new server will not be in 1.8 but possible will be in the latest version aka 1.12 but you can still connect using 1.8+ versions but you will not be able to see 1.9+ blocks, items and possibly mobs. So here he talks about the new new server being in the latest version but the Classical Net we know will still be in 1.8 and will not be in 1.9+ due to EULA.

And one of the reasons CypriotMerks will add a new server is due to less lag as the current classical Net is laggy and super thanks to the developer JustMatt for working extremely hard coding to make for us a near perfect, less lag and a better new skyblock server for us to enjoy.

And here CypriotMerks is confirming that the new server is a skyblock and you can choose whether you want it hardcore or not as seen him listing the new and cool features.

And finally, here is CypriotMerks mentions that there is no release date and with the building competition that will end in last of july I can estimate that the release date might be between mid August to possibly mid September.

And also some super moderators also confirmed that only a new server will be added. No Net going to be reset.

Tl;dr No reset will happen, only a new server will be added.

yes, for the people that didn't care to read and take the time to comprehend what Cyp was saying, Bert here was kind enough to point it out to you and make it blunt. If we all would have read, we wouldn't have needed something like this, but thank you bert for putting this out there for the people that are freaking out. I guess I personally just wanted them to freak out for a bit, and then find out that what they thought was wrong. I mean they were the ones who didn't read it all.

Bassicly a fresh new server with more features will be the main server. Hardcore mode will be optional. You will still have the ability to connect to the current server if you wish to play with your items and island.

Yep, also confused me when I tried to explain that paragraph. I bet many players thought it was a reset from that sentence.
