The following is written by RocketOG, he attempted to create an appeal alt on two separate occasions with different emails and both attempts failed. The following is written by him:

7. Why do you think you should be unbanned? Well first id like to request someone other than emerald handle my appeal because I believe he is biased since I am friends with RobloxianRoblox who he has personally had many issues with in the past. Now as to why my ban should be lifted or shortened is because first of all the rules do not clearly define if a Discord invite is allowed or not. It says a link to a website or other minecraft server. Discord is not a website, it uses a web address as a bridge to the app but the web address itself is a screen that says "Joined this channel" or whatever, there is no function other than informing a user that the app has been launched and they have joined the channel. Also thirty days - a whole month, for one link that was used by nobody, isn't explicitly disallowed by the rules, and for something that does not detract from the player base or servers success is extreme. I would understand a week long ban since it is the first time this has happened, at one point he cited my history, my history of posting discord links? Or the one time I rate abused someone? Certainly not for my in-game offenses, those have nothing to do with anything forums related. uh I had a lot more stuff to say that I forgot but whatever ill add it later, also if you decline my request for an unbiased mod ill just appeal to emerald, don't lock or deny this smh

 

Firstly, Rocket cannot request another moderator to handle Rocket's appeal, I will handle it unless I request another moderator to deal with it. Setting that aside, Roblox and I haven't been friends for months, we aren't even friends now all we did was make up, and I'm confused why you even brought Roblox into this, he has nothing to do with the appeal/ban. Even if we did get in a no relationship, why would I even target Rocket for that, that is ridiculous. The rules say Do not post links, IP's, or anything directing to another server on the forums. The infraction guide says

1 month ban - Perm ban

The one month ban will only be set in place if the user is not a spam bot.

Advertising is posting links, IP’s, and whatnot to external websites/servers. Do you have a link you are unsure about? Ask a staff member.

Discord is considered a website, discord can be used on a browser so it makes it a website. Rocket could've asked a staff member about this if he was unsure. 1 month is not harsh for advertising, it is even in the rules.

I am not sure if you know about this, but Rocket has been perm banned for rate abuse, he had 3 offenses, his 4th offense just happened. A fourth offense is a perm rate abuse, you can also make him appeal on this appeal about the rate abuse.

Rate abuse is the use of using ratings on a specified member, 3+, in under a short period of time. This all happened under an hour, which makes it rate abuse.


Back to the advertising appeal, Rocket shouldn't have done it in the first place. Rocket has appealed before, and should re-read the rules, there should be no excuses of doing this, he knows the rules.

I never brought up any of Rocket's in-game offenses, in-game and forums bans are totally separate.

but its for the same rating category, that was two dislikes and one optimistic, further more I actually went back and removed one of the dislikes which you can check because I did think it was excessive.

It's because the moderator that banned you has authority on the ban appeal, it wouldn't be right to give it to another staff member or a friend on the staff team

Rate abuse is 3 ratings in a shortened time period, it doesn't matter if they are different ratings, it would still be rate abuse. No one should've told you, it is in the rules, the fourth offense is a perm

Your rate abuse permissions will be perm removed permanently. Do not appeal for them until 10/1, you need time to think about what you've done on forums, all the bad history you have, think it over.

For the advertising ban, we can continue with that.

Do not say anything about the rate permissions, that's over with, if you do I just will not respond, it's my final decision.

 

No the ratings go away if they are removed, part of the reason you are able to remove them as a forum user. It is not rate abuse.

For advertising, tell me why you thought it was okay to do this. Even if you didn't think it was a discord link, you had the option to ask a staff member, it is clearly in the rules.

I am done with your tricks, you need to owe up, confess what you did, and I need to see that you won't do this again.

 

First off as I've said at least once already I asked a mod, I think t-mod at the time if it was alright to post discord links and they said it should be fine, never actually needed to post a Discord link until the other day where I thought it would be cool to show people my channel. Thats pretty much why I thought I could lol, believe me its a hell of a lot more effort appealing then it is to just find a few people online to join my Discord lol.
