This sounds amazing but I don't understand the hardcore mode thing...? So if your coop members die you die as well and your coop disappears? What does it mean.

 

Wait I just realised: if the server doesn't disappear what will you do if everyone just decides to stay on the classic one.

 

So will there be rares? if so how will they come into the system?

Eg: Dropping 5 jeffcivs 50 bunny heads ect.

Then it'll basically be .ORG all over again most likely but some people may wanna go hardcore mode islands so they might go to the new one

I'm a bit lost right now. So basically everything that I have in my chests and island will be reset to scratch? I loose all stuff I gathered and hours spend making my island? The only thing I will keep is the donor rank?

 

There will be a server dedicated to your island and items which is classified as 'Classic.' This will run alongside the new server, so that you can connect to both. No items from the 'classic' server will be transferred to the new server.

 

Everyone will just stay on the classic server, I mean the new one will get good traction for half a year, But noone is going to leave all there rares and all their time they have put into their islands, too much of a community on there. its a shame cause im really up for a reset, but I have a feeling this idea wont work, as other people have suggested. Hope it does though

<#> I think this will kill skyblock. This was the ONLY server that I enjoyed because there was only one island type. Also, My computer cannot really handle 1.12. I hate skyblock servers with all those Challenges, Levelling, Auto Terraforming. Etc. I just LOVE the current skyblock. If CypriotMerks wants to refresh the server, I would recommend making another server ex skyblock2.net to at least TEST the features before the reset. This will make time for any bugs and exploits to be found. Good Luck on the reset tho :/

 

He is testing the new features on another dedicated server with the developer JustMatt. Also you would still be able to join the old Skyblock Server and play on it.
