In return I think CypriotMerks should come on Skyblock.net once a week at the same time every week to show respect and show that he still cares for this server. I sort of understand what you're saying, but Cyp cannot guarantee a certain time, plus I don't really see why this is necessary. Cyp still comes on skyblock at least once a week, but a certain time is not needed.
I'm not sure you've gone about that phrasing of that request very well. I buy a bun from the general store every day. It's probably not worth 2 dollars but I pay that much anyway becuase I like the store and I like buns . I don't expect to see the manager, nor do I get the impression that they do not care about the store, after all it's still running, even though there are always improvements that could be made. Sorry for the weird analogy, but I hope you get my point. He's a busy guy, and he does care about the server whether or not you think so- if he didn't, it would have died a while ago. I'm always happy to see Cyp around and chat to him if I get the chance, after all, he's a cool guy. But seeing him is not a privelege or a right, and he has no obligation to talk to people if he doesn't want to.
You're Australian. When it's a prime time of 8pm for him, it's a bright and early 5:30am for us. When it's 8pm for us, it's nearly lunch time for him (I don't know his life, but he may work, go to college, or whatever during the day). It's no surprise you don't see someone in opposite timezone to you. I've heard from people in his timezone that he does come on fairly often.
It's the wee hours of the morning that he's most likely to get online. 11-1 is 2pm - 4pm ish for him. If he does something during the day, he can't get on then. Besides, that's a weird time, mid afternoon, to get online either way. If you're willing to wake up 3 hours early, you're more likely to see him then
