Yes. The reason I was illegally trading ws because I accidentally broke my cobble generator. Then my friend wanted to join my island.
By trading you all his dirt, etc? the only items you can take from one island to another are items not found in a starter island such as lava, dirt, and sand. You may take stuff like wood, cobblestone, etc.
I see no reason as to why I should unban you. For all I know you will simply continue your destructive behavior and inflict more harm in our community.
