Alternative way to become admin?

    So there is a fifty post count and two weeks on forum requirement for sky block. Maybe an alt way of becoming a mod would be catching 3 or more hackers with evidence?

    We have a console to catch fly hackers most of the time.

    Also are you talking about admin or mod?

    We don't need to catch hackers here.
    Also 50 post count would be non negotiable. You need to prove that you are active on the forums and actually will communicate using them. You need to prove you are integrated into the community.

    For instance if we made a rule that said "make three reports to be able to apply for staff". Now I could make three reports with minor issues with very little effort.

    No support. It won't be changed.

    Anyways, no support. Most hacks are allowed on the server anyway.

    The 50 post count won't be changed, it proves your committed to the server and active on forums.
    Plus, we don't need to catch hackers, most hacked clients are allowed, see the guide here .

    no support, hackers arn't the main problem on skyblock, its mostly more morally wrong stuff such as chat related offences

    50 posts is insanely easy. Just contribute some more. Besides, if you think that posting 50 posts is difficult, maybe you're not cut out for moderator.
    Also, we don't often ban people for hacking, unless it's in mob arena or a non-/fly command person flying, and even then people don't tend to do it. Perhaps an aspiring moderator should be familiar with the rules and practices of the server...?

    No support. Just because catching three hackers, doesn't do anything to get mod. First and foremost we don't know you so we cannot judge you if you're fit for mod. Second the server can automatically detect hackers so its nearly impossible to find one in person.

    No support, since everyone that wants to become an admin or a moderator has to go through the process like everyone else. The current moderators here have all earned there positions by being active in form or another.

    In my opinion filling out a moderator application truly weeds out the players that are just in it for the rank. Abusing your rank can lead you into some serious trouble with the admins. If you are serious about becoming a mod, fill out the application and it will be reviewed and with a little patience you might prove to be a great fit to the moderator team.
