Whats up guys, I thought it would be nice to help some new members who have recently joined Skyblock on how to deal with the five character count error that ALWAYS ANNOYS THE F****** S**** OUT OF ME. lol

Before I go, I just wanna say welcome and whats up to all the new members. The few I can list at the top of my head are Hopsicles and UrOne. Have fun on forums!

Lets begin:

1) Oh no I got triggered.


2. Highlight your selection, like a boss.



3. Click on the Font size icon (red arrow) and select any number (blue arrow) (NOTE: 4 is prob the best bc it looks like the same size before you clicked on the font size iron)


This is how your text would look like after you selected your font size.


And you're done! Now you don't have to type something that is 5 characters long and waste your energy with it. Congratulations, you finished on how to bypass the five character thing, here have a cookie *gives cookie to people who reply saying thanks" (lol you don't have to reply or say it)

I'm sure the point of the owners adding it was not for you to bypass it. Normally the post isn't worth posting if it is below 5 characters.

 

lol why would u teach people to bypass something that was put in place for a reason

 

What if you wanted to say hi, or bye, or any short and sweet word? You would need to bypass the character requirement. Plus it isn't going to be bad.

You might be right on that, but sometimes you feel like typing out a sentence or you feel it isn't worth it to type it out.

 

The forums isn't the place for that. You could PM them, chat on skype, chat on the server discord.. etc

This is sweet of you, but I belive the character limit was added for a reason.

 

Same as wolfie character limit has a reason and we shouldn't bypass it

It was to stop useless posts like "^" and "lol" but given the thing is bugged it was meant to be 5 characters not 10

 

Or, you could put [ plain ] at the end of what you were typing. (without the spaces in between the brackets.)

 

you could have used [plain] tags to keep that [plain] tag plain ;3

Yeah. I generally just type a quick "[plain]", and it's almost exclusively if I'm replying to a count to x thread, or a similar forum game. Sometimes for short forum conversation messages. Other things you can do and their side effects: colour: though those with darker forum themes will get black writing where most of it is white, size: size four isn't actually exactly the same size as normal font, so you'll be left with an off sized post. The one with no side effects is [plain] ;3

 

What does [ plain ] do?

 

Yet a lot of people do it . I see what you are trying to say, but there are people who don't know about it, so they do it. (like me ._.)

What if you wanted to say a short word like lol, or create emojis with your keyboard. In addition to it, if you're on forum games some of the threads require you to type a short number, word, etc. So in order to bypass it, this would help you.
