Hey guys, so in my English class I'm way ahead of everyone, so I've been given extra work to do for more credit. I need suggestions for good books that I can write a reading response to.

Here is what I've got so far:
1st to Die - James Patterson

I need five more, so suggestions are appreciated. Please be serious with these.

    It's level 6, Year 11.
Hmm, I may check it out, I like stories with rough subjects.

    The Great Gatsby

    The Crucible

    Scarlet Letter

    Their Eyes Were Watching God

    The Awakening by Kate Chopin

    In Cold Blood

    The Metamorphosis

These are all of the books that I had read in 11th grade for IB English class.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a good book to read in 11th grade, at least here anyway.

The only one I can think of is Catcher in the Rye.

I'm reading Axiomatic (By Greg Egan) for English as a choice to compare with Bladerunner (the film). It's a brilliant book, the author is a genius. Dunno if you're into Sci-fi though - and it's a collection of short stories. Very "what is human nature"ey though.
