I am aware that this question has likely been answered several times, but I can't find those threads.

Between 2013 and 2016 I had no working computer and so I have been absent from Skyblock for many years, but during that period I was still able to change my Minecraft username from Mangastarr to KixlePixel, as it is the name I use on most other games. I decided to log onto Skyblock.net about a week ago out of curiosity and I appeared on a new blank island. My old island was a co-op with my cousin, but when I tried to /visit him I was told the island was 'locked'. Is there any way I can be re-added to the island/does the island still even exist? Thanks and apologies if you are sick of questions like this.

 

There are 2 possibilities:

• The island has automatically deleted after a certain amount of time ( 6 - 12 Months )

• Your friend has kicked you off the island due to you being inactive in the past years.

 

If you remember your cousins previous username then we can use namemc.com to find out what It has been changed too

To reduce lag on our server, islands get wiped when the player has been inactive, usually over 6 months to a year, or your cousin may have kicked you off their island.

 

Back when name changes first came out, you would lose your island if you changed it.

Try to get your cousin on and see if he still has the island.

 

Does it have to be only the coop member who must be active for the island to not be wiped? If not, for example, if a coop member plays regularly will the island be wiped?
