I have reason to believe that the newly introduced Mini-Me pet is, in fact, an attempt to spy on Skyblock's players.
Think about it. The Mini-Me pet (Available for purchase in the Skyblock Store) was introduced during the beginning of an era of controversy and decline on Slyblock. What was causing this decline? Players were leaving in droves, while new ones didn't stay. Popular players were openly stating the decline. In an attempt to cover it up, mods did everything in their power to shut them down. But it didn't work. At first, perhaps Cyp was confused. How did these people get the upper hand? He had to find out.
On February 8, 2017, Cyp solved this problem. The only way to gain information from players was to spy on them. Using other players (or mods) as spies is too unreliable and suspicious. So, Cyp created the perfect spy.
As a purchasable pet in the Skyblock store, Cyp could both earn money AND information from players. The Mini-Me pet was very appealing, after all. It's meant to be a more vulnerable version of yourself. And how else would you flaunt your Skyblock savvy without the fancy-pants Mini-Me pet?
I thought the same too, until I saw what was happening to the server. More players were being silenced. More players were spending money. And mods were able to take down long-time enemies.
That all needs to end today. I have exposed this threat, as must you! Together we are strong! Don't succumb to Cyp's fallacies! Trust me and trust yourself! Be the change this server needs!
