Huh WimpoleDavid some dude i met just now said in chat "I need help message me" I did and then he told me to sub to his channel i said No then he had to tell everyone in the chat to /Ignore me yeah i sure can tell people on this server are so rude now and i see why the older players have quit. Im sorry but its true. I miss the good old days when the dome spawn was there and players where so helpful and kind and never made fun of people im so upset that this server has gone downhill like im so upset but anyway i hope this server can get its popularity back up again when it had 200/400 players. i can see why this server has 62 players now and i hate to see it that way

 

I used to like the server then too. I have friends here though I'm sorry that you experienced this. If you ever still want to play, i'm always here and I'll be your friend!

Yeah i really enjoyed 2013 since i met alot of nice people and made alot of freinds im just really heatbroken to see people so Rude on the server its upsetting man.. And that the server has 62 players now like wow

Thanks and oh i really did not know it was Cypriots other server i will go check it out then And with harassment or spam i will just ignore them its just i was really upset to log on for the first time in ages and see the server is at 35 players plus people saying /ignore me yeah its just upsetting seeing the server itself. Im really just shocked how someone just asked for help then to sub to there yt. Anyway Thanks for the support

 

It's a shame to see this happen. I too remember Skyblock as (mostly) friendly, and those who weren't friendly were easy to ignore. But, if everyone works together, I'm sure we can restore Skyblock to whatever we want it to be ^-^ My only problem with dissing skyblock's current state is if people decide to jump ship because of it - either fix the problem of don't complain, you know what I mean?
Anyway, if you ever have trouble like this again, I advise taking it in good jest. For these situations I'd usually say something like "It's true, I have nothing worthwhile to say" (sarcastically, of course) or type "i/gnore <whatever his name was" then "oops". You see what I mean? Humour in those sorts of situations disarms people and turns what might be an irritating or humiliating moment into an amusing one.
Anyway, if you ever have trouble like this again, feel free to ask me or someone else you feel comfortable talking to to deal with the situation - even the firm word of a mod can discourage a player exhibiting this sort of behaviour.

What happened to the community? It used to be so friendly.

 

And so active, but now. It's sort of the opposite. No players, people starting to hate each other, cyp losing money to keep this server running, and the popularity is running low.

Nope. There were a few ruthless members of the community that most people just seem to forget about. Back in 2012 and 2013 people weren't reduced to tears at the slightest thing. These days, saying, "I don't want to be your friend" is treated like you pulling a gun out and shooting someone.

It's crazy.

 

Of course there's always the odd few but other than that the community was fine.
