I am suggesting that we give Social Spy to Super Mods+. Because some mods over use it, or abuse it. Please leave your thoughts down below

lol no when i was a mod and started to use socialspy i caught tons of people who harassed others and even people who didn't break the chat rules but other rules like island farming. it's rlly useful to have

 

No support. Full mods have list enough perms as it is. Also, how would social spy be over used? Social spy can't be abused unless the mod is sharing the information passed between two people in the private message.

I can't see how it could be abused. Social spy is there for a purpose, so giving it to less Mods would have a negative impact. I don't use it much anymore but it's been useful in the past.

 

Mod start talking about player to player private msgs

 

That's not over using social spy. If there are mods who are talking about player-to-player conversations just for fun, then a higher ranking mod can talk to them about it. It's not worth having social spy taken away.

I never used Social Spy because I considered it an invasion of privacy. If a moderator uses it to talk about your private conversations, report them for abuse of permissions.

It's very useful if someone is using /nick or /m about something against the rules. I do agree on occasion it can feel like an invasion of privacy, but if you feel as if that's the case, then perhaps Skyblock /m isn't the place for sensitive conversations.
No support overall, it's too useful, and there aren't enough SMods for it to still be functional if the permissions were taken away.

 

Support, I had many mods invade my conversations that broke no rules and ruin them for me.

 

Promote chill and decent mods which probs won't happen.

 

Fat trust for Emerald to no support, he is one of the mods too abuse it. I believe that social spy is an invasion of privacy so I dont really have a say in this.

I agree with Sean. Social spy is an invasion of privacy, hence why I choose not to use it. However, it is good in its own ways as we can tell if someone is nick abusing, harassing, or breaking any chat rule.
