Farmed Products Selling Area?

    100% support, one of the best ideas I have seen in a long time.
    When I first started, voting everyday was a main source of mine and 52s income in our coop. This will be helpful for greenies who have no items to get and trade when they start as farming is easy.
    [Edit] This could also make people play more on the server as they spend more time farming and therefore become more addicted. Once they move out of the farming stage, they become an active player. I mean I don't know, would work for some.

    This is totally the reason I made this thread.
    Also yes, I think it would definitely make more players stay and not just leave after 5 mins on the server not being able to make any money :)

    Some richer players could spam it so it could be like you can sell 5 stack every 24hours.

    A greenie-only warp wouldn't really be practical,
    1.
    Because donors have alternative accounts that are greenies so their wouldn't really stop higher ranked players from going to this warp,
    And 2.
    Because players wouldn't want to donate if they could go to the warp that makes them money if they build a farm or whatever.
    :/
    I'd thought about it being greenie only but for these reasons I've explained I decided against it.

    I'm not sure how that would work and also people would then build up their farms then not be able to sell it.
    Or people have already farmed a ton and they wouldn't be able to sell much so it wouldn't really be much of a stable income, which is what I'm suggesting.

    What if instead of giving out currency, the shop gave out things like iron tools that would be valuable to new players trying to build out their island, but not particularly useful to sometime who already has diamond tools (or easier ways to get them)?

    But tools are useless because most people have diamond tools and also it wouldn't provide the stable income for greenies and players starting out which is what I'm suggesting xD

    But like I feel like it's unfair for the defaults as donors have these huge, giant, monumental and completely oversized farms where they can easily cheat and become rich, however defaults work hard so it kind of makes me feel neutral.

    I don't really agree with the cactus/sugar cane. It's too easy to make afk farms from those and get hella rich from it, which would flood the economy with way too much extra grass.

    If player shops implemented something along those lines, it would be cool.
    Like in my shop, I'm willing to purchase logs and leaves (potentially more things in the future) for gold nuggets, that players can exchange into grass at my ATM. So they can have a tree farm and make money that way, and it also helps keep my shop stocked. Doing it that way encourages player to player interaction, which if we're being honest makes it more fun to play, and it also prevents any new grass/nugs/whatever from coming into play, it just distributes it around more evenly to other players. ​

    Rich donors do have these big farms yes, however they can make more money trading rares than selling crops.
    It's not for donors to get rich, it's for greenies and starting players to be able to make money.
    So instead of new players coming and then going after 5 mins when they get bored because they can't make money, they stay and have fun and skyblocks player base grows. :)

    I agree completely. In addition, grass doesn't completely inflate the economy, as a lot of it ends up being used in the place of dirt, so it exits the economy a lot of the time.

    The sugarcane and cactus farms would be the best way to get players afking and playing more on the server and also getting money at the same time, I know people can get a lot of grass from this however transferring the cactus/sugarcane to the shops would be manual labour and would take time so a lo of people wouldn't bother and they would trade rares.
    So do yh support this? No support this or are you neutral? :3

    Okay, but like what Lights said, this practically changes the survival server into an economy server, with an admin shop like this. Especially since there will be more grass/diamonds entering the economy than exiting it, thus causing inflation and therefore devaluing grass/diamonds and making no difference.

    Furthermore, something like this benefits richer players more than poorer players, which defeats your purpose, because richer players have the resources to make larger farms, leading to more income, leading to even larger farms.
    Also your point here is completely invalid, because it is much easier to make a profit farming, as opposed to trading rares. Myself for example, as a donor 400 receives up to 50 sand every day, and even more grass. In a week or two, I could make a much larger cactus or sugarcane farm than any non/lower donor costing myself nothing at all, as opposed to trading rares as you've stated which is a much riskier business that is much less profitable.
    The original suggestion being for poorer players doesn't prevent more affluent players from taking advantage of a system like this, unless you directly prevent donors from using the shops, which would be unfair as well. Donors pay for more privileges, not less; and not all donors are quote unquote "rich". Which leads back to the pay-to-win mindset of this server. This is a good suggestion in theory, but it cannot be executed well.
    If you want an admin shop, just play economy.

    This wouldn't really benefit richer players more than poorer players because richer players simply wouldn't farm much because of the smaller amount of income, which poorer players wouldn't care about. I'm suggesting about like a 5 stacks for a grass or a stack for a few gold nuggets. So donors wouldn't spend their time making such low amounts of money when they can get them in their kits daily for tapping a few keys.
    Also economy is dead so no one plays there so I'm suggesting this for net lol
    But also do you get what I mean when I'm saying that this will make more players stay on the server instead of leaving after 5 mins when they can't make any money?
    There wouldn't be diamond entering he economy because the shop would pay out gold nuggets or grass and grass gets placed a lot and gold nuggets are used for buying stuff in player made shops such as Cyk's skyshop etc.
    Also is this a support, no support or are you neutral? :3
