Unless I'm mistaken swearwords being used to share your feelings on skyblock is increasing. Its also being used a lot to bully/intimidate others. I think if you swear you should get kicked and receive a warning? If you swear a certain amount of times you get temp banned. - Young children are playing and a lot of parents aren't even keen on them talking in the chat, so swearwords shouldn't be there. The chat should be a nice friendly environment for all players. Also I think the plugin that automatically filters swearwords needs to filter the word Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by staff members** Tell me what you think bellow P.S I know I swear sometimes but I have decided to stop. From now on you will never see me swearing in chat.
as a parent I totally agree I have to tell my daughter to log out sometimes..please try and do something about this admin please
Swearing is filtered, and if you evade the filter, then you get a kick and if you keep doing it, then I think (not too sure, mod correct me if I'm wrong) you get a temp ban. This is basically already on skyblock so I don't see much point in this thread sry xD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes but the swear words aren't blocked out with a black line running through it , it just use s**rs so its not completely blocked.
We do kick for swearing, that is a rule. You are allowed to swear in a PM with a player if you're both okay with it

Support. I think this will reduce people swearing and spamming in chat. Believe it or not, there were circumstances where people would swear and flood the chat with that swear. Its so annoying asf (opps lol). BUT.... what about swearing in private chat? Will that change?

What my mum used to say about this. Sometimes you cannot avoid your children hearing and seeing swearing. When it happens you just gotta tell them that is not an appropriate word. Majority of the swearing is censored. Some words will slip by. Players are punished for using such words but we cannot stop them from using them in the first place. The filter isn't perfect unfortunately.

Whilst I do support, swear words are already filtered and players avoiding the filter are kicked, or can be reported if a moderator is online. Maybe stricter rules would help reduce the use of swear words in chat.
Agree. Please don't ban me but a couple of times I had bypassed the chat filter, but for saying gay. My parents told me never to use that particular word and I never used it (until middle school came around)
Support. While skyblock already has a system to take care of cuss and swear words, it should be improved a bit more. I absolutely cannot stand when people cuss in chat, it's honestly pathetic
My honest opinion here, so we're supposed to be a G rated server here so I tend to always kick for language or bypasses, as I do not feel it's the correct atmosphere for children. Some people do get annoyed for kicks because they're "expressing" their feelings, but really they should do that somewhere else as we have set rules here. Support.
