Hey guys!
I've been working on a pretty big project recently and I have now decided to release it to you all! I officially announce the opening of the free cactus farm at /visit Stomento!

About the island​

The island once belonged to a player named Stomento. Unfortunately, he came online one day and informed me he was leaving. He left me all his belongings and his island. He /trusted me on his island and with that, he quit minecraft. Whilst I was sad to hear this, I decided that instead of merely taking his items and leaving his island to rot, I would make it useful. So, I made a large and free cactus farm open to all Skyblock.net players!

About the farm​

At time of writing, the cactus farm currently has around 14 levels. It was built by me using red sand I bought, red sand that was donated, and also sand from my donor 50 kit every 2 days. The farm is still a work in progress, and I hope it will become huge in the future.

Why did I make this?​

In the past, there were awesome free cacti and sugar cane farms at /visit BunningSnag and /visit Universalz. However, those islands unfortunately moved on, so this is why I took the initiative to try and help out the community.

I /visited the player whilst in game and found there is no automatic cactus farm here, just a manual one that only coop members or trusted players can use.

I indeed did find this farm after many minutes of looking when I went online today. It was pretty hard to find and the collection point wasn't clearly labelled. Furthermore, as you said the player unfortunately no longer plays and therefore the farm can no longer expand, whereas I hope to continually expand mine daily. However, I appreciate the input you gave. I also hope you'll enjoy my farm, too. .

 

Quick update, if anyone is interested!
I just bought a bunch of red sand and increased the farm by about 10-12 levels. The efficiency of the farm is now even better than it was before!
