The server moderators are to fulfill these roles;

• Help players with problems that may have, such as:
  • Scams
  • Griefs
  • Harassment from other players
  • Need of advice
• Monitor the chat; this means dealing with things such as spam, encouragement of spam, inappropriate language, flaming, harassment, advertising, etcetera.
• Ensure that Skyblock is a friendly environment for all players. This means that moderators may have to take action in the form of kicking players, or temporarily/permanently banning players in violation of the server's rules.
• Answer questions that players may have in-game.
• Actively work in-game and on the forums.
• Deal with all types of reports and appeals on the forums.

What moderators can do;

• Their basic player commands.
• Ban, tempban, unban, kick, mute, unmute, logblock, invsee players, etcetera.
• Use of commands such as /ban, /tempban, /lagg (radius), /socialspy, /alts, etcetera.
• Be able to bypass island lock.
• Bypass chat filter.
• Bypass tp wait (/tp, /tpo, /tphere, /tpohere)
• Able to fly around the world of skyblock. (/fly)
• Higher ranked moderators get access to colored nicknames, spawnmobs, /forceprefix (for skygods+) etc.

What moderators cannot do;

• Modify your permissions/commands/user database; such as:
  • Making you an operator AKA "giving op"
  • Giving you /fly or /god commands
  • Giving you a prefix or a nickname
  • Give you donor status
• Spawn items for you.
• Teleport you to your friends.
• Unban anybody without a proper ban appeal.
• Ban anyone without sufficient/proper evidence that they have broken a rule.
• Vanish.
• Magic (i.e. stopping lag with the snap of their fingers).

What moderator ranks are there?

- Full Moderator (1st Moderator rank)
- Super/Senior Moderator (2nd Moderator rank)
- Head Moderator (3rd Moderator rank) (Staff Manager/Manager)
