I think it would make things a lot better if we could take our spawners back up after first placement. With a command like /spawner retrieve, you could pick up *your* spawner and have it back in your inventory. This would definitely be a big help for renovation and other stuff! I'd love to see this happen. Maybe skyblock.org's owner could include it in the reset? Thank you for your time,

this suggestion might not even be possible and u would have to mess with plugins quite a bit for this

Nope! Its a 10 - 20 minute plugin to make.

Although that is exploitable. What if I pick up someone elses spawner?

    I completely agree.
For this case I do not support, plugins can usually be exploited somehow and mods have the necessary tools to deal with this in an instant. :p

would it be possible for it to check with logblock who placed it? eg: caza397 performs /spawner retrieve, plugin checks logblock to see if caza397 placed the spawner, if not: Sorry this spawner is not yours, if so /give caza397 monster spawner 1 and delete the original spawner

So what? Worldguard works on BlockBreak and BlockPlace events. Something like this wont trigger neither

the idea was for it would be /spawner retrieve wouldnt get any other spawners unless you placed them thats what they meant not to pick up spawners you didnt place thats why it said *Your* spawner

Well, I did say that you'd only be able to pick up *your* spawner, as in when placed, your spawner has nbt tags with your name so that a plugin will know that it is yours. Just a thought on that.

Oh, and you'd have to be looking at your spawner just like if you used /spawner chicken.
