Aye babes, guess who's back again to make one more of these threads?

IT'S JOHN C- yeah I'll look up the nearest bridge on google maps now
    anyway
    yeah

So, most of us saw what happened to Org. A new skyblock server opened up, hosted by a previous Org staff member, and within two days, the active playerbase left, and the average player count went from 20 to about 2.

It's still like that, and unless that server goes down (based on the current donations, it probably wont, my guesses though), most of the people (I'll use us, since I'm included here) are pretty content with our new locale, and thusly, we probably will not be coming back. There's a lot of us, most org, some net, and that kinda made it so Org is..

Well honestly, it's just dead weight. I'll reference the old but good Hellblock here, it was the same way. It stayed like dead weight with an average of a player count of two (or less), and it eventually just got merged with Mineverse (where it's still dead weight with almost no one on it ever). If this keeps up with Org, then I've gotta ask:

Cyp, when's it happening to Org mate?

Ah, it's still sad to see that Org basically turned into that of HB before it was moved over.

It's quite sad, but I don't think ORG will be up much longer :(

I figured this would happen ever since I started org a year ago. I ended up giving up on org pretty fast, because I saw a dying server. I imagine it must be sad, in general its sad. We lost skyblock warriors, soon we will be losing org. I am seriously hoping this doesn't happen to net, otherwise I will be demanding my money back.

Even though I have not been on Org, It's still sad to hear. I went on there a couple of times to see what it was, and to me, it looked like dead weight.

Cyp and Crew basically can't do that to net, don't worry. If they stated that they'd take down net, I don't care how rich they are, they'd go into debt from chargebacks. Org, on the other hand, only would have about $2,000 in chargebacks, so it's manageable I guess.

Do note though, that net is losing it's playerbase as well, and quite fast at that..

Oh, I know it's losing its player base. I made a discussion thread regarding why I think we are losing our player base.

I think maybe you should keep caring for something you started. The amount of neglect that some areas of skyblock have received are part of why the server is dying. Gosh, we are down to just org (on the verge of death) and net on this server and they are still neglected so much. It is no wonder our playerbase is shrinking so fast, this server has lost different parts of it, and it has been neglected. Sheesh.

It isn't that many players have just decided to play somewhere else. A lot of the players there, owners included, would want to play here too but are not allowed, which is understandable in one respect but is still kind of sad as I imagine many of us play or have played on various servers at the same time. Remember Fluff? He advertised and got perma-banned for it, so Org lost a donor and almost daily player of the last year, and he wasn't the only regular who has been forced to leave. Skizz's appeals and apologies for disrespect have all been ignored, and CF63 got perma banned on forums for spam and disrespect, too, so he doesn't play as often anymore. There are other cases, too, sadly. Their friends missed them and thus started to log on less frequently, so I wonder if in the long-run, the protection of Org by permanently banning players like these for these reasons might have ruined it.

I'm totally against perm bans for reasons like these, can you tell? They were some of the nicest guys on Org who helped keep the community alive. Punish them, yes, but not forever. I mean doxers still play here, you know? And even I'd perma ban those ones.

I totally agree. In my opinion, perm bans need to be edited. It is one thing if the player is compulsive and does it over and over without regret. But some people that get perm banned regret it and are sincerely sorry.

I'm gonna go ahead and clearly state my opinion on why- which some of you already know, those being the ones who read that huge thread I made on Skyblock's problems- the staff team.

Don't get me wrong, I love some of the staff
    like three people
But all of the others are either useless placeholders who couldn't give less of a crap about the community and just want free publicity, or just all in all don't have any idea what the hell they're doing.

Tl;dr, I wish that Crew would promote at least one new admin, demote cyp, demote 3/4ths of the staff team, and promote some people that actually deserve it. I would hope for this to actually be done under a completely new mod application template, as the current one sucks a**.

What do we want? THIS ^ When do we want it? NO- oh, it's never happening, nevermind
