Bump means when people post something on threads that have been inactive. It makes the thread they posted be not-locked
A bump is when nobody has responded to a thread for a like a few days maybe so people say bump to get the thread on the top of the forums again so people will see it and maybe reply to the thread.
When a thread isnt on front page anymore or where people cant see it they post that "bump" so it moves to the recent threads again bc its apparently so important
