I am wondering what other donors think. In your opinion is it better to save your diamonds or use them for upgrades to higher ranks. Please let me know your thought on this bellow. This would help me a lot as I don't know wether to keep my diamonds or try to find someone who can upgrade me. I am currently a Donor25 and have just enough diamonds to get an upgrade to D100 on a sale. Thanks guys
It's based on what you think - is it worth it or not? Personally, I think you should stay as a donor25 and save your diamonds, to be point where (if you're patient) donor25-donor100 is not all your budget (also you'll have the upgrade you desire + some extra diamonds), but that's just my opinion. Keep it mind, it's not what others think, it's what you think, if you believe it's actually worth it or not.
As the donator kits can give you grass which overtime can be potentially traded to get more diamonds (and donor100+ get diamonds), I'd say going for a rank is benefitial. Spend diamonds to make more diamonds.
Thanks for the insight, I have mixed thoughts. I like the idea of having a nick, yet I do not know wether it's worth leaving the diamonds I worked hard to earn.
Use them for upgrades for sure. Supporting the server in any way you can is a big plus and you can get diamonds in your kit when you are a high enough rank.
Some questions to you, how do u make diamonds? Are u a rares trader? Chestshop chain owner? oddjob worker? In perspective, im a rares trader and last year i had 5k diamonds, i just need 2k diamonds to trade around so i spent 3000 diamonds on D10 -> skygod
Do whatever you want. Donor is a waste of money, doesn't improve your experience apart from more rare stuffs and a different way your name is displayed, depending on the rank.
"donor is a waste of money" Donations keep the server running, the forums up, the teamspeak up and honestly all the things that has allowed us to be a community. Without them you wouldn't even have these forums to tell people its a waste and no server to even play on. Maybe it's a waste to you personally but to others having perks is worth paying for. And it is the people that have wanted these perks that have contributed to keeping this community alive. So what is the harm of telling someone it is acceptable to buy a donor rank with their diamonds; why stop an opportunity for funds to the server. With that being said, it is your personal preference if you find joy from donor. If so, go for it. Don't let anyone else tell you donor is a waste because in my experience, being donor without mod for only 4 months, it is the best time i've had.
.. community. Daily drama, people wishing other people dead. Is this really a community youre proud of being a part of atm? Also is it fair saying its their personal preference, and thus choice, and then telling them to ignore everyones statements of it being a bad idea?
It all depends on your perspective. In my opinion, I would say save them for ranks. It ends up adding up in the long run.
Don't get it: At donor100 you make a diamond a day. And it supports the server?!?!?! Wow! Because Crew doesn't already have enough money!
