I have seen this on other servers and it works really well. Basically when you visit someones island you can set greetings that display in your chat. For example you do: /Visit cypriotmerkz [Tim Welcomes You To His Humble Home!] Or: [Welcome To SaneShop // Crazy Deals // Also this would be really usefull if you wanted to display a msg maybe like this: SaneShop Is changing! Or SaneShop Is closed. My second example (SaneShop is closed) could also be used if you visit an island which is locked, it could then say why: SaneShop is closed due to restocking etc. Please Tell me why you went no support if you do. Saneshop is simply an example not a real shop or my own shop @Copyright 2017
You mean like when I visit an island it appears in the message "Welcome BertBerry to bla bla" and the players themself can set up the description? If so support. Useful in case the shop is closed, opened or under construction as in general the island itself.
There could be rules or however it works. Like when you type a swear word on a sign the sign doesn't work. There could be a message saying "No inappropriate words" or something jazzy.
Would just create too many problems there's always a way to bypass filters in most cases. But I still like the idea of this seems like it would be helpful for the most part.
Do you mean it displays on chat or broadcasts it on your screen? Also, I like the idea, but like what Emerald said, it could lead to inappropriate messages or other. Neutral, for now.
Support! I really like this idea, and I do think there could be a way to censor it to a point where you cannot say anything inappropriate.
no support i like the main idea of it but like Emerald said there would be ways to bypass the filter which would end up being problematic just place a sign at your islands spawn point instead, saying or something, that'd work just as well
