Now, we all of heard of this new method demanding players to wait 10 seconds to return to your island, or visit someone else's island, etc. Though there are many complaints and many players are frustrated with this new feature, I believe I have some solution to less complaints, and more income. My suggestion is that donating gives you the perk of deviating this method of reducing lag. If this is just for non-donators, I envision that there will be more donations so that the annoying aspect to the feature is a relief, and people can move on. Just to add to this to all those concerning the addition; this was just added to the server. There will be improvements and it won't be like this forever, but you just have to bear with it for now. I guess you can state your arguments about this suggestion below. p.s. please don't say that I made this thread because I am a donor. It could help out hundreds of other donors, and also be a motive for others to donate. ~Universal
The issue I have with this suggestion, is that it will basically make the entire plugin useless. Most of the commands used are used by donators, enabling them to bypass the plugin would harm the greenies while the lagg returns to normal.
From what I have heard, this doesn't fix lag at all. And that's the point of this suggestion, the greenies have to deal with it until they donate. I have seen this on multiple servers where you have to donate so you don't have to wait. Lot's of servers make you stay still for 5 seconds before teleporting, but until you donate, you no longer have this annoying aspect.
I don't really know if it's fixed lag. I know i used to get a lag spike once every 20 seconds and now it's down to once ever 3-5 minutes so I'm fine with the plugin.
