Regardless of that, your opinion is good and very constructive - If I base it off what you've said I'll be able to create a better application when I'm ready, Thank you.

Well this one is just a matter of time, really. Unless there's some sort of history I am unaware of or this is an alt of someone else Ms. Korangar is probably going to get her chance.

This application is one of those posts people should read before writing their own. The review is by PM (ask Charisa if you'd like a copy) but came down to basically minor synonym swapping and word choice. No major problems and a lot of good, unique content.

Charisa's full application is here: USA - Veracity's Moderator Application | Mineverse Forums[/URL]. Best of luck to her in the future.

Very "meh" until the last section of the application. Then she wrecks that "Do you have experience?" portion like Stewie Griffin's Where's My Money skit on Family Guy.

    Nicely played, Ms. Clorox.

Writes very well and has a lot of experience. My only annoyance is emphasizing her strengths as a previous staff member instead of detailing why Jennie as a person is the best choice. It's a crutch she honestly did not need.

Goes out of his way to point out how he wants everyone to be happy. Not a bad thing. I hope he doesn't get eaten alive for it because of a few sociopath personalities on SkyBlock. Best of luck to Mr. Pads.

Extremely well written, but really seems to downplay himself a lot. Lack of focus is a serious problem but he comes off as intelligent, smart and well spoken.

Very dedicated person (60+ hour work week? Wow) but not entirely sure they are aware of the commitment she's taking on. Regardless that is a very well written application and I wish her the best of luck.

It is easy to see Mr. X has a lot of focus on people and making them feel better. Unfortunately he seems to have a lot of self-confidence issues and keeps bringing up how other people are better... in his own application. The writing style threw me off as well, some of the paragraphs in his qualification section seemed to ramble without even really coming together.

Not a bad person but definitely needs to rewrite this to showcase why his talents would benefit a team.

Struggles with expressing himself, but the basics are there. That diction is murdering me, though.

On a positive note this is the very first application I have ever seen someone list "Coachable" as an attribute. That is outstanding and deserves a +2. Nicely done, Mr. Inc. Best of luck on your application.

Extremely well written, to the point he seems somehow... familiar. Near the end of the application the writing quality drops sharply, but otherwise a very good application. Best of luck to Mr. Illegal.

    5 Reasons Money Ruins Kids

President Donald Trump. Reading those three words makes 90% of the world recoil away from the computer like the mouse suddenly exploded into spiders. The man is a living dumpster fire full of racism and emotional neglect-- the only worse person to ever be elected did the world a favor by shooting himself, having his body burned, buried, dug up, burned a second time and the ashes scattered in the wind. (Hint: Führerbunker).

But even "The Don" was a kid once. How did it all go so wrong? What turned him from a rascally little scamp into the horrific female crotch-grabber we know today?

Well it may have started out with an application like this one. Because you see...

#5. Born Rich Means Never Developing A Personality
    evil child.jpg
Kids are little stinkers. Even young children rapidly learn how to manipulate playmates to gain attention-- it's common nature. Some of us were streakers (ahem), others kids were louder than everyone else or stuck random items up their nose (there's always one). But for the blessed few born with a silver rectal thermometer there's another choice: Toys.
    Legos.jpg
    Colorful? [✓ ]Chewable? [✓ ]-- We're done here.

Anyone that's desperately jingled their keys at a crying three year old understands they love shiny things. Know who has a never-ending supply of shinies? The lucky 1% (of the nursery). Always being the person with the newest shiny thing means that kid never learned to shout, streak, stick things up their nose, etc-- just having a shiny means friends. And having a lot of shinies means a lot of friends.

It's obvious where this is going. There's no need to learn how to get along or develop interesting traits when you shortcut straight to "everyone wants to be nearby". That attention (and good feeling) ties itself rapidly to the idea of having something others want from you.

Which is bad, because that means...

    #4. Friends Are Probably Fake
    FakeFriends.jpg

People want what others have. It's one of the oldest problems humanity has: Even God had to take a moment away from some smiting to write down a law about wanting dat a**.

    DatAss.jpeg
    Pictured: Dat a**.

The worst parts of humanity are always looking to grab what they can. Sometimes it's a literal a**-snatching but more often than not they're looking for favors and attention because of course they are. Every semi-famous person in existence has hordes of groupies looking to be in the spotlight.

This behavior even has a term: Vicarious reinforcement. It's the idea that if you stand close to someone getting a firehose of Likes that attention might land on you by accident. Well-balanced people occasionally dabble in this sort of thing (office politics, yay!) but normally they draw the line at actually using the association to gain something.

But the bottom feeders in this particular sewage tank can spot a sucker and latch on. Rich folks find themselves surrounded by "yes men" and smiling faces. It's fake (and they may even know it) but over time it's hard not to start thinking these people giving constant "Likes" may actually, genuinely appreciate you.

    Which is a problem because...

#3. Rich Kids Struggle With Boundaries
    Boundaries.jpg
Everyone has witnessed the iconic scene of a toddler eating an enormous floor sandwich after forgetting which foot goes in front. While hilarious (you monster!) what happens immediately afterwards? Unless you're Harambe's next of kin someone is going to swoop in to make that kid feel better. Pats, soothing voices, a little "atta boy" and the tyke is right as rain.

    That absolutely ruins adults.

Imagine every time you kicked a homeless guy an entire crowd of people was there to say, "Good job, man!". That would twist your mental knot up so tight scientists would study your brain to detect black holes. Now take that example and apply it to literally everything from stealing a candy bar to the murder of a woman, her daughter and a pastor. There's no scope too big or too small: No matter what you'll always have a group of people cheering you on.

It becomes impossible to tell when your actions harm someone because no-one will stop it. Even if someone does step in your fan club will overwhelmingly reassure that everything will be OK. This is why rich children spiral out of control so badly-- they can't tell they are the literal bottom of the emotional waste dump. Their entire life is an echo chamber and there's no escape for the poor kiddo.

Which leads to another slight problem...

    #2. Every Punishment Seems Outrageous
    NotFair.jpg
    MOD! MOD!! MOOOOOOD!

There's always some little nard-gargler that doesn't get the joke. "You can't do that!" they complain while completely oblivious to how much they sound like Dobby the House Elf. Everyone points and makes fun of them for being so easy to offend.

And then you're banned for it. WHAT?! #UNFAIR

Constantly getting a "free pass" on small things distorts the idea of right and wrong. Everyone LOL'ing about every little thing you do (see #4) gradually erases the idea that actions have consequences to others. Why would everyone be laughing if this was a bad thing to do?

Abruptly coming up against some sort of hard limit (like threatening someone's real life) can be an actual "WTF" moment on par with biting into a wasabi-flavored doughnut. The experience of being told "no" feels like getting a baseball bat to the face for no reason-- nobody ever complained before, what's with the sudden anger?! Help! I'm being censored by a Nazi!

But at the end of the day we kind of feel pity for these kids, because...

#1. Rich Kids Kill Themselves More Often
    IQuit.jpg
Study after study after study after (holy Christ) study after study after (omg) the mother of all studies shows that children with rich parents go out and find a nice bottle of bleach to drink way more often than normal.

It shouldn't be a surprise: When kids grow up thinking toys get attention while living with a permanent fan club they might be a little prone to having a slight case of "Am I A Real Boy?" syndrome. Sooner or later a situation comes along they can't buy or beg their way out of and a lot of truly awful life questions pop up.

So perhaps it isn't so surprising to see terrible behavior from the worst SkyBlock community members.

But that doesn't mean it is acceptable.
