it's more than just being online a lot. You have to have detailed, and intelligent input on some things. You can't just go around cursing people off, or posting random non-related stuff. I believe it is important that a person also cares about the community.
1) When they become salty 2) When they have money 3) When they bribe cyp and most importantly... 4) If they be like me
I was actually asking for good qualities, not bad. I would appreciate if we could take this discussion more seriously and be polite.
Just saying sir, there was absolutely no reason to dislike that post I made. I didn't say anything offensive at all, I just stated the facts.
I know. thats what I meant on the last one Leave it Eddie, if he wants to, let him. You once told me to "swallow up the salt" and "move on" . Its time you do the same . I feel you now fam
oh, another tip real quick. If someone gives you an undeserved negative rating, you can always report it to sean the administrator. I love it, and I totally agree. all of those qualities are vital, especially the latter 3.
1. You must be online a lot. 2. You must be qualified to be mature even when your hated. 3. Act in a professional manner always. 4. Always meet the requirements needed. 5. Make sure to be able to be on the forums and in-game for at least and 1 hour to 3 hours a day! 6. Always follow the rules. This is some of the basics that I learned from applying and all of that maybe other people can learn from I said.
It seems like to me that the 2nd and qualities would be the hardest on a person. How would a person handle hate? How do you be professional?
Recently I found another thing. A mod should definitely be honest. The person in question who lied to me, it wasn't mod related, however he lied, and has been known to do so. Sure, it wasn't in game but if a person lies irl, what makes you think he would be any more honest in game? Honesty to me is a very big factor. Also, I know a mod applicant that hacked another players account to slander me. So really, wouldn't you agree that honesty is important?
honestly from what ive seen both here and on mineverse its moderators picking moderators. which is just bias lol. there are so many good applicants on here, but they get bashed on because they aren't well known. "i've never seen you online before" is really just an excuse for "i've never noticed you" i think a good moderator is someone who is active, and kind, and friendly. but from what i've seen it doesn't matter if you are any of those things because some of the staff here are bias as hell. im sorry if this is offensive, but its true. from the looks of it, you're picked if you have an important social role on this community. not if you're actually active and kind and friendly and generally a good person. i guess if you really want mod you gotta be the cool kid, act like an idiot, and make friends with the staff.
